The soffits just needed a little something. |
The farmhouse wallpaper is up to give just a little bling to the one wall and soffits. Have a great rest of the week. Hugs, Kris |

ReplyDeletePerfect!!!!
ReplyDeleteWow! That is the perfect wallpaper pattern for your walls. Just perfect.
ReplyDeletePERFECT!
ReplyDeleteWhere did you purchase the wallpaper?
Wow, wow, wow!! This has exceeded my expectations!! I am in love and yes, please, as Carla asked, where did you get it? I'm looking onto redoing a few rooms and I just might have to add this to one of them. Gorgeous!!! xo
ReplyDeleteLoving the pattern and color you picked out Kris. Looks amazing! Hugs and blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeleteOhmygosh Kris, this is wonderful and makes all the difference in the world!!! Such a huge change. LOVE it!
ReplyDeleteKris, it is beautiful, and I love the large size of the buffalo check! I have wallpaper in our home, so it makes me happy to see other bloggers who like it, too. Your kitchen is so cute!
ReplyDeleteI have neighbors still waiting for windows, and the tornado hit on March 25th. Your patience will be rewarded, My Friend!
Hi Kris! Oh, you found the perfect wallpaper! It's gorgeous! I love your sweet kitchen. Hope you're doing well.
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
I absolutely love the wallpaper, Kris! I think this is my favorite kitchen you have designed. I had no idea you bought a condo. How do you like it? Sounds very fuss free. 😊
ReplyDeleteSo good to catch up, girlfriend! I've been out of the loop but so happy to have time to jump back into blogging
Jane ❤️
So pretty. I love it! That color and pattern is something I would totally pick for my own kitchen.
ReplyDeleteYou ALWAYS find a solution, my friend! It worked out really well. I have to admit I am not good with envisioning wallpaper patterns and you really nailed it with this buffalo check. It adds just the right amount of warmth but it doesn't close in the space. Well done!!!
ReplyDeleteIt was the perfect wallpaper, looks great.
ReplyDeleteThat wallpaper is perfection! Love the look. Sorry about your door delays - what a pain!! My washing machine died and I opted to buy an expensive model just because I could take delivery in 3 weeks instead of waiting until Christmas. COVID GO AWAY FOR GOOD AND TAKE YOUR DELAYS WITH YOU!!! lol Have a happy week! xoxoxo
ReplyDeleteThe wallpaper is perfect for your kitchen! This room has come a long way from when you moved in. Love all of it! xoxo
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job picking out the perfect wallpaper pattern for your kitchen. The kitchen looks so warm and cozy Kris.
ReplyDeleteLove it all. I was wondering about the light fixture. Is this also a fan? If so,do you like it? We need to replace some ceiling fans and I have seen ones like this but did not know how much they moved the air. Also where did you purchase it. Thanks. Tracy
ReplyDeleteHi Tracey. The light fixture is a fan. I had ceiling fans but in this kitchen it is a must. So I found this light fixture that has the fan blades up inside to keep them from getting dirty. I found this at HomeDepot. Here is the link. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Home-Decorators-Collection-Brette-II-23-in-LED-Indoor-Outdoor-Brushed-Nickel-Ceiling-Fan-with-Light-and-Remote-Control-AM382B-BN/308642360? It is so quiet. Thanks for your visit and question. Hugs. Kris
DeleteIt looks great Kris! I love it. It really gives the kitchen that somethin, somethin.
ReplyDeleteThe wallpaper looks fantastic with the stainless steel appliances.
ReplyDeleteBrenda
The wallpaper looks lovely in your white kitchen. Truly a farmhouse look. I hope your doors arrive soon. I know how frustrating it can be. Thanks for sharing your sweet kitchen. xoxo
ReplyDeleteMorning Kris,
ReplyDeleteI love it, that wallpaper is just perfect, and just added the perfect touch. Once the trim goes up it's gonna look even better. Be praying you get your new doors soon, as yall have been waiting for quite a while now. Hope you have a good rest of the week.
Blessings, Nellie
This wallpaper is absolutely perfect. It just makes the space pop. Love the buffalo check at one point I had a burgundy buffalo check in my kitchen so it makes me happy to see it in yours. You have such a knack for putting things together this condo has really come along way you should’ve been a decorator!
ReplyDeleteI love your choice of wallpaper! Never would have thought to place it on the soffits like that -- it looks great. So does the kitchen:) xo Kathleen
ReplyDeleteLove it!!
ReplyDeleteYou nailed it Kris! Plus the wooden countertops photographed beautifully. How do you clean them? Are they sealed? Very pretty.
ReplyDeleteHi Susan. I did not seal them I just use butcher block oil on them every three or 4 months to keep them from getting dry. Otherwise I leave them alone. That is the beauty of butcher block. I do not cut or do food prep right on my counters so I did not seal them. If you want to use your countertops like chopping boards for food prep you would have to seal them. I just do not like suffocating off the wood. I love the way the butcher block oil keeps them looking nice. Hope that answers your question. xoxo
DeleteI see ! That makes perfect sense. This way they will always look great. I love them.
DeleteGosh Kris! That wallpaper is just perfect! I love the way that it softens everything and I love the check! Hugs, Gilly
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful Kris - where did you get the kitchen light? I've never seen anything like it!
ReplyDeleteHi Monica,
DeleteWe got the light/fan fixture at Home Depot. It is quiet and runs by remote if you choose. I have to have a ceiling fan in my kitchen to move air but I hate fan blades getting so greasy and dirty in kitchens so this was a good choice. The fan air is pushed and no fan blades to get dirty. Hope that helps. xoxo
This is gorgeous Kris, I love it!
ReplyDeleteI wonder if it's the supply chain holding up your doors? It's been a long time. I'd be annoyed too.
Hugs,
Cindy
Love the buffalo check, Kris! It adds just the right touch to your kitchen. It's been awful waiting for deliveries. Hope your doors arrive soon.
ReplyDeleteThe wallpaper looks really good, Kris! It adds such a warm and cozy touch to your kitchen. I can't find the exact same ceiling fan at Home Depot Canada 😢 but they do offer something similar, not as pretty though. We're embarking on a master bedroom/half bath makeover and I can't wait to install the fan.
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful, Kris. Another winner. It all looks so charming, my friend..xxoJudy
ReplyDeleteThat is so cute. It adds so much to your kitchen. I hope the door is resolved soon.
ReplyDeleteI love the new wallpaper. If I had been asked, I don't think I would have voted for it but seeing it now. Wow. You have such a great eye for seeing things as they will be.
ReplyDeleteLove your kitchen..So pretty. I love the lighting especially, and the little decorated shelves..so nice. You are getting there..I know thats frustrating waiting for the door parts. Yikes. :( Have a great Halloween weekend.
ReplyDeleteKris, it is perfect. I love it. Hope you get your doors soon. Everything is slowed down because of the supply chain mess. xo Laura
ReplyDeleteKris,
ReplyDeleteThe wallpaper looks fantastic and I love your Kitchen!! It looks so charming and so inviting!!
Hugs,
Debbie
Oh my goodness! That wallpaper makes the kitchen look even more cottagey! Love it!
ReplyDeleteThat is the perfect wallpaper for in there and just adds your sense of style to the condo. I hope they can replace that door soon. I know it must be driving you crazy because I know how you like things 'finished'.
ReplyDeleteSee you soon! xo Diana
Oh...I love the whole kitchen!! The wallpaper is a great finishing touch, Kris! xo
ReplyDeleteLOVE your new wallpaper! I must have been channeling you because I just purchased a Buffalo Check tablerunner for the new house! LOVE Buffalo check!!!!
ReplyDeleteKathleen
