I added the old clock to the top just to give it some character. I might come across something cuter for up there but for now I kind of like the clock on there. |

Oh My...I love your old post jewelry holder!! I make vintage style necklaces and an old post would be perfect for a display in my booth. I'll have to look for one at the flea market. Love the clock you put on the top too!!

Hi Cindy
DeleteOh yeah how cute would that display be for your vintage necklaces!!!! So so cute. I found all of this at the flea market even the door plates for the old knobs. Very inexpensive to get this done.
Kris
yep, i love it--i knew i would:)! and i have such a crush on anything with a clock on it!
ReplyDeleteI knew you would appreciate the clock. I still cannot get over how cute that chandelier came out with the clock face. My fav thing so far you have done.
DeleteBrilliant all the way down to (up to) the clock. What fun. Gives me thoughts on what to do with an old scrappy coat stand I found in the trash earlier this year. The stand part is broken on it so I haven't done anything with it. How is this staying up? Is it just leaning or did you attach it to the wall. Really, really cute!

Hi Liz I was going to put some kind of feet on this but have not found anything cute and chippy yet so my husband just attached it to the bottom of the wall for now so it won't tip. He put a piece of block wood and attached that to the wall and then used a long screw to attach the bottom of the post to the block of wood. I wanted it to be away from the wall so this did the trick. I am glad you guys are all liking the old clock I was not sure about it so glad to hear it is looking cute up there!!!!
DeleteThis is such a cute idea! Love the way it looks with the old knobs and hardware! Great project! Hugs, Leena
