I was thinking about my love of signs and how many I have around my home. I love words in print on old pieces of wood. They start to tell the story. I thought I would share with you some of my signs I have around my house.
I started this blog to share my cottage home and how I re love junk chic items into my home decor.

Hi,
ReplyDeleteI have a quick question about your blog, do you think you could e-mail me?
Brian
All of your signs are AWESOME! They look lovely in your home~~~very cheerful and welcoming! Your style is so pretty and very enjoyable to look at. I would love to see it in person, because I know I would be overwhelmed at the Unique and beautiful vignettes! Keep up the beautiful creative design! Roxie
ReplyDeleteHi Roxie,
DeleteI would love to have you come and visit if you are ever this way near Chicago. I have a little ranch lake house and love that I could decorate this whole house when we down sized and moved here about 5 years ago. It is just my husband and I now that my two daughters are married and out of the house. So it has been fun to decorate this place. If you are ever this way you have a invite to come by for sure!!! Thanks for the nice comments.
Kris
Love all your signs and how you have them displayed. I have several around my home too.

Hi Susan,
DeleteI know I was a little bit taken back on how many signs I have in this little house when I started to go around and take the pictures!!!!! The bakery and groceries signs I got this week end at the flea market. The guy sold them both to me for $10 I snatched those babies up for that price!!!!
As always Susan thanks for your nice comments. I love your pictures of coming to Chicago. It is a great city and I love that I am only 30 minutes from downtown. It is a an amazing place to visit.
Kris
Your signs look great. You have some terrific ideas of how to display them. I think that makes a big difference on how they look. I am really enjoying your blog, thanks.

Yes, you DO love signs! But, then, I do, too--but I don't have a collection like yours! They are wonderful! I love the angel, too. My Mom collected angels, so I'm always reminded of her when I see one.
ReplyDeleteSending you a hug,
Dru

Oops mispelled word....getting used to my new laptop.
ReplyDeleteThe signs tell a story of how you met the one your soul loves at a french bakery while drinking French vanilla coffee and eating pastries. You then moved into a cottage where you planted a vintage garden so you would have fresh flowers for your little love nest. Now you count your blessings everyday! Can you tell I love your collection?
ReplyDeleteNancy
Oh My Gosh Nancy you are so cute!!!!! I love this story!!! You get it!!!!! Good thing I did not have any signs about old, saggy, chippy for the story!!!! Ha Ha!
DeleteHope you guys will be open this week. I need a Tattered Tiques Fix!!!!

I love how with signs it's not so much what they say but how they are designed which make them artistic.
