Here are some more pictures of my laundry room I added to this post tonight. I love this old chippy door and found this cute wire basket at the flea market in the summer. |
I love the light that comes into this laundry room since we re did it. The washer and dryer use to block this window so was really happy to move it down and open up that window. |
Just a fun little post today and an update. Some of you have been asking me what happened to the light fixture I had in my dining room before the flip of rooms. Well I found a new home for it in my laundry room. I have been doing some deep cleaning with it being so cold and rearranging some of my decor in rooms as I clean. Today I did my laundry room.
This is a picture of the light fixture I had up there until I put the mason jar chandelier up. I love this one too but I will find a new home for it. I just think the mason jar chandelier gives better light in this room.
My husband re hung the chandelier I had in the dining room into the laundry room after the flip. I am liking it's new home. |
You have so many great ideas in this laundry room. Love the cupboard doors. Blessings from Ringle, Wisconsin.
ReplyDeleteYou are so sweet with your comments. Thank you always. Is it as cold in Wisconsin as it is down here in Chicago. Brrrrrrr I want that spring like weather back we had in December!!! Have a great day.

ReplyDeleteI just love your laundry room. I makes me want to do mine. I can't even say redo because I have never DONE it before. The lights look great in here. Love all the vintage washboards, too. What a sweet husband to rehang again! Mine would be grumbling for sure! :)

Your laundry room is beautiful! So many people are posting their laundry rooms lately--I think everyone is starting to think about spring cleaning :)
ReplyDeleteWhat I love the most is your washboard cupboard doors. . . you blow my mind.
ReplyDeleteMartha Stewart should just maybe start taking lessons from you :)
Have a wonderful week.
Your blogging sister, Connie :)
Oh, my! I would LOVE doing laundry if I had a laundry room that looked like yours.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely laundry room. I'm visiting from Savvy Southern Style. Sometimes I think I might like to redo my laundry room. I want to use the scrub board I had to use as a child when my brother and I disobeyed our Mom and we got our clothes filthy with red mud. We didn't do it again :).
ReplyDeleteI think I would actually enjoy doing laundry in your room! LOVE the ladder hanging with all the great baskets. Your chandelier is perfect in there.

I was wondering where you put your chandelier...it looks great in your laundry room!! Also love the other light that you had up in there. Can't wait to see where you put that one. I so wish that my laundry room wasn't in the unfinished part of the lower level of our tri-level.

I love the way you transformed this light fixture and now it has a new home in your fabulous laundry room! Wish mine was bigger. I don't have much room to do much decorating, just laundry - yawn! I should try to perk it up a bit to make it less of a chore to be in there! Thanks for the inspiration! Hugs, Leena
ReplyDeleteI love every inch of this space. Your home is so inspiring. I hope you don't mind but I am getting a lot of decorating ideas. Please continue to share your home!

Your house is too cute. I wouldn't mind doing laundry if I could be in that space.
ReplyDeleteOooooh this is so cute! I wouldn't mind doing laundry if I had a room that looked like this! The old washboards and laundry baskets are so adorable and I agree the mason jar chandelier is so cute in here! We've been in our home about 6 months now and it's getting worse instead of better. I start to get one room done and move on to another, only to move everything into the semi finished room... Eeeeccck, it just goes from bad to worse! But seeing homes like yours gives me HOPE to continue!

ReplyDeleteOh how pretty is that. I love all the vintage goodies. Your making my wheels spin with ideas!
