I am a retired RN. I love all things white, chippy, vintage and cottage chic. I am married to my best friend and handyman who helps me make our cottage chic. You can read more on my About Me page.
What's this? Did I infect you with backache via the internet? I hope not. I'm sorry you are having trouble. It sure does make things a bit more tough-going. Mine was getting better, but today it's been bugging me. Too much to do to sit still and try to treat it right. I'm glad you are. Get well soon. Looks like you are making the most of your "be still" time. How sweet to have magazines brought to you!

Yeah Liz like what the heck!!!! I think you did infect me through the computer!!!! What a weird thing the whole back issue is for me. I have never had back issues and all of a sudden last Saturday night I started to have alot of pain over my lower back and could hardly move. I went to the ER finally around midnight as I could not stand it anymore. They ran alot of Cha Ching Cha Ching test and found nothing. So they sent me home with pain meds and said to follow up with my doctor. So I did since the back was not getting any better and they sent me for an MRI that showed a slip disc and bulging discs so I am starting physical therapy on Tuesday and I am staying hopeful that will help me so I do not have to do anything further. Too crazy. I can hardly sit for very long at the computer etc. so I just lay around and use my ipad to amuse myself. I am glad to hear you are getting better too. This stuff really stops life. I am not someone that likes to lay around so this has been a miserable week for me. I had a lot of plans for the week but had to cancel and just lay around with a heating pad and ice packs. Today it is a little better.
DeleteSo no more telling me when you are hurt or sick because somehow it is coming through my computer!!!!!! Hope you are doing better too.
Kris
That sounds like a nice way to spend a winter day! Jean
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a nice quiet day enjoying your magazines and treats. Feel better soon, my friend!
ReplyDeleteXO,
Jane
Thanks Jane.
Delete:-) Not as good as yours... I didn't get any mags!
ReplyDeleteToday I distressed the 2 pieces I showed on my last blog post. After staring at them for a week... I decided they need a bit of roughing up. Think I will apply a coat of finishing wax as well and then call it a day.
Here's to you feeling better. Put those feet up and enjoy your tea and magazines.
Hugs, Gee
Ohhh I will jump over and take a look at what you are doing.

What a sweet treat your daughter gave you!! So sorry you are in such pain....I can relate as I have kind of chronic back issues, which are for sure no fun and can really cramp your style. Hope your therapy helps very quickly and you can get back to the things you love. Just recently found your blog and love your decorating style, I added you to my blog list immediately. Those magazines look wonderful, so just use your back as an excuse to lounge and be waited on. Hope you are on the way to complete recovery... Blessings, Linda
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear your back is hurt! Hope you're feeling better soon. At least you have some good reading material. Take care!

ReplyDeleteBack pain is the worst . . . I get up with it every morning, from an injury 45 years ago.
I feel blessed that most days after I do my back stretches and warm my muscles, I feel much better.
I do hope that each day brings you to better health.
Your blogging sister, Connie :)
Sorry to here you are still suffering with your back but I know the mags were great to have and relax with. I talked with my daughter today several times about the weather you are having. Maybe tomorrow will be better...vera
