I got this cute bunting that is white letters painted on burlap. So so cute. Not sure if it will stay where I have it now but I really think it is so cute and a great Easter banner. |
Look at the cute little detail of the ribbon and button. Had to have this little pretty. |
Also purchased another chippy frame from there today that I am planning on hanging in my guest room on the "frame wall" I think empty frames speak volumes with history and imagination. |
I also had gotten this old chippy door a while ago from their shop and I hung my angel that some of you may remember from Christmas. She was too pretty and special to put away after the Christmas decor came down so I found her some everyday decor to hang onto and put her in my other guest room on that old chippy door. She is a special guardian angel for loved ones that stay in this guest room. Well I got out of my house and the sun was shinning and it felt so mild out today. Loved it. Sun, mild temp and junk treasures it does not get any better than that. Hope you are having a great day too. Kris :) |
Love that pin cushion....very sweet....and the wall of empty frames is beautiful also!!
ReplyDeleteThis is like my eye candy for the day, really!
ReplyDeleteLove every single thing ( I sometimes put frames on the table for center pieces too! )
And I have empty frames here and there but that whole wall of them is just gorgeous!

That looks like a very fun field trip!! Love the pincushion!! Thanks for 'taking us along'!! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a score with the frames Kris. As an artist I am always on the lookout for special frames.
ReplyDeleteAt times I design a canvas around the frame, not the other way around.
Thanks for sharing your treasures.
Hugs, Gee
Thanks for sharing! Lovely treasures you found!
ReplyDeleteGreat finds, Kris! Love the banner ~ I think it looks great there, too. Love the pincushion. I always say I'm going to make one of those myself. Luckily I have a bloggy friend that made me one for my birthday one year, otherwise I'd be waiting forever to myself to get one done.
ReplyDeleteWhat sweet finds and sounds like a great shop! Couldn't help but notice the gate headboard. LOVE!

cute banner and i LOVE the pin cushion, kris:) the frame looks great with the ruffled runner!
ReplyDeleteYou just kill me with all the cute stuff you have! Love the new banner. So crisp with the burlap and white. Pretty!
ReplyDeleteSuch fun finds. I just received a Paper Source order in the mail - I too look forward to the mail- and I had forgotten I ordered some canvas pennants to make a banner. I am hoping for some fun crafting time this weekend.
ReplyDeleteFunny aside - when my husband mailed off your package on Monday, he also mailed a gift for our daughter who lives in San Francisco. I asked her today if she had received it yet - no she hasn't. Two days from California to Chicago, but already 4 days just 300 miles north and it has't arrived.
Love the frame wall!! I've been wanting to do that in our hallway. Oh how I love that pin cushion!! And of course, I love your angel!!
ReplyDeletehugs,
Cindy

I agree with you about empty frames. They look great on the wall like that. I love that cute little silver pin cushion. I've never seen one like that before. What a great idea to repurpose a sugar bowl like that! That store had some neat things.

I received my kit for my own "Grace" but I think she won't be born til some time this summer, she is adorable overlooking the Guest Cottage! Your Easter bunting is adorable and bet it will be all over Pinterest in no time at all...but I think my fave is the beautiful ruffled table runner, gorgeous frame and precious bunny! I can't believe you get those gorgeous frames just like that, no need to change anything!!! I love coming to visit with you, I always come home with wonderful ideas...thanks for sharing!

Hi Kris!! Love all the white frames on that sweet guest room. :) I am going to have to make my next trip up there a couple of extra days longer to visit all the shops. Definitely want to check this one out. My son told me last night he had to go over to his father-in-laws to help get all the water out of the basement. The sump pump has stopped working for some reason. It's a mess up there. I hope you have a super sweet week. xo
ReplyDeleteWhat great finds Kris!!! Tattered Tiques is one of my favorite blogs! I so wish I lived closer to visit their shop in person!!
ReplyDeleteEverything in your home looks gorgeous as usual!! I love everything in these photos!!Adorable banner!Love the frames on the wall! Love the frame idea with the bunny in it! And I am so glad to see that you kept your Christmas angel out! I love her! I want to buy some of the patterns from The Cheswick Company and make some of her dolls for myself! You give me so much inspiration!! You really do!! I look forward to seeing your photos more then my favorite magazines!;)
