I wanted to share a few pictures of my favorite shop Tattered Tiques that I stopped to shop at this week. I just love going in to the shop when they are open and seeing what new treasures I may have to take home with me :)! There is always something that has my name on it.
Tattered Tiques is a two room warehouse store. This is the main room. Doesn't this scream get in here!!! there is some really cool treasures!!! |
I love this little sign they have!!! |
Look at all these yummy old vintage signs. I would need an addition put on my little house to bring any of these home. Out of walls at Junk Chic Cottage. Love red and white french sign. Gorgeous. |
In the other room I snapped these pictures. Look at all those silver lovelies in the basket. |
One day, I am going to show up at your door in my Element with a trailer attached. We will head right over to Tattered Tiques and I will fill it up. I will bring a batch of the oatmeal cookies I have been making lately
ReplyDeleteWhat a great little shop. It is clean and orderly and I like that. Sounds like there are good deals there, too.
ReplyDeleteDo you happen to know how much that wrought iron set is? My friends (that I have been helping) have one just like it and will be selling it. Just curious how much the set is worth....if you know...if not-no big deal! xo Diana
So many vintage goodies in this shop! I know I wouldn't walk out of there empty handed.

Kris, one of the highlights of our Chicago trip was when you took us to visit Tattered Tiques! You're lucky to have them in your 'back yard'! (And you're right, they are so sweet:)
ReplyDeleteLove my treasures that I brought home from there.

DeleteOh! Those globes way in the back of the first room! I've been looking for a globe for a long time and haven't found any that are 'junk chic' prices.

I love finding new antique shops, it's like finding buried treasure! I found three old clocks in the things my father in law left in the house and I love them, now I'm on the lookout for more to make a display.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing. I love it. Wish I was closer I would be all over it. Have a great Sunday!
ReplyDeleteOMG - love the shop. I sure wished that I still worked and traveled back to Chicago. I would buy and then put it on the North American Van that brought back my trade show stuff from Chicago to CA. I did that quite a few times. See lots of things that I would have to have. Miss traveling there, but not the hard work.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for sharing with us.
Have a great week and looking forward to the seeing the guest bedroom.

ReplyDeleteI can see why you love their shop...so many great goodies!! Love all the signs and that cattle feed pillow. We have a couple of shops around here like it, but they are very small and I just heard yesterday that one of them is moving to a town that is about 30 minutes away.

Would I ever love to shop in that store, so many incredible awesome things in there I spied. I'd have a hard time deciding what I wanted most. Do they have lay away? Sure glad you shared all this with us. Love your blog. Good thing that store is in IL since I live in western CO, keep me out of trouble.
