Here is a little sneak peak at the new master bedroom and En suite. The cream walls are gone and we painted the walls in a light white/grey called snowfall in Paris. All three chandelier are now painted white no more cream in this room.
The whole master bedroom and bathroom were painted this week end and I am getting the room back together today. I am hoping to show the reveal in the next few days.
So how did you spend your Sweetest Day?! The hubby and I spent ours painting and singing to music in the bedroom!!!
I did make him a candle light dinner of his fav prime rib. So we dined to soft candle light and admired the paint on each other's face!!!!
Stay tuned to see the new master bedroom and bathroom reveal.
Have a great Sunday and start to this week. Kris :) |

ReplyDeleteThe night stands look great, good colour choice. I can't wait to see more.
ReplyDeleteKris, You know it's true love, when you can admire the paint on each other and eat a romantic dinner. I do love that light gray color. xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteKris, you make me laugh! Just a normal weekend, painting the walls and all the furniture-ha! I wish I had your energy :)
ReplyDeleteLove the new color...so soft and pretty! Look forward to seeing the rest of your gorgeous bedroom!

The bench looks great with the ruffled valance, Kris. Love the sneak peeks. I'm working on our master bedroom, too. I'm sure I've mentioned to you before that I've had to make lots of changes once we moved up to a King bed. I can't believe I have to do this again already since I had just gotten it to where I liked it with your Queen bed. Not painting yet though. I do like the color you got for your walls and can't wait to see the whole thing!
ReplyDeleteLike the ruffles on the bench - looks good. Love the color in your master bedroom and can hardly wait to see the end results. Love the light grey end tables - you have such great tastes.
ReplyDeleteI am having a very relaxing weekend - reading a good book and doing not much of anything. Have a great week.

Wow, you sure have been busy with all of that painting and redecorating, Kris! Can hardly wait to see your big reveal! I really love how you repurposed the valance and added it to the bench, that is so cleaver!!
ReplyDeleteYou mean that's ALL you got done this weekend, Kris?? :-) Love the wall color and anxious to see the whole room!
ReplyDeleteMary Alice
Great minds think alike ;-) I painted my bathroom this weekend. I love that you and your husband painted together. So sweet! I had the weekend to myself. I painted in silence and enjoyed it tremendously :-) I don't get a lot of quiet time so it was a treat! Hope you have a wonderful week ahead!
ReplyDeleteYou are putting the rest of us to shame, Kris! That's it. I'm opening up my can of Palace White paint and starting on the living room walls this week! Your curtain valance looks so cute on the bench and I can't wait to see your reveal. I've suddenly taking a liking to gray after seeing it on a few of my favorite rooms in blogville and I'm sure you've used it to create the spa feeling you want. Put your feet up!
ReplyDeleteAhhhh you are seeing the light! Love that light and bright color....so pretty! Can't wait to see your new reveal! I just brought in lots of light in my master bedroom too! Just adding a little color...not much.

ReplyDeleteLooking good, Kris. You're right about the ruffles. Much nicer on the bench.
ReplyDeleteI am enjoying your decor changes! I am drawn to soft, muted grays with whites and earthy browns.....the curtains were lovely before, but I agree with your change, the bench is perfect! It's coming together beautifully. Will be looking forward to the grand finale! I have been gone for a few days, so it's nice to get caught up on my favorite blogs! Blessings~~~Roxie
ReplyDeleteKris,
ReplyDeleteYou and hubby are a perfect pair. How fun is it to have projects that you both love to do together!
Christa
The ruffles on the bench looks very nice! I did like the ruffles on the curtain but now that you have done this, I like them on the bench better! Where do you two get your energy? And then to cook a nice meal! Nancy
ReplyDeleteKris,
ReplyDeleteLike the ruffles on the bench...perfect match! Looking forward to the full reveal.
Blessings,
Linda
Too much ruffle? I don't believe it is possible. I do love it on the bench though!
ReplyDeleteLove the ruffle valance on the bench...so cute!!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see your room when it is all done.
hugs,
Cindy
Oh I am so excited to see your makeover! Looks like it willbe fab! Love that your hubby is always game for yout decorating shenanigans...and he always helps! Mine is like, no thank you. Lol!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see it! Though I loved the ruffles!
ReplyDeleteLove that little bench!!! I know when something just doesn't feel right even though it may look pretty to others....lol! Can't wait to see your reveal...I love white and grey together!
ReplyDeletei adore your style. So pretty. What brand is the Snowfall in Paris paint color? Sounds so romantic. I love the names of paint colors now!!!
ReplyDeleteThe color was from Glidden paint. I had the paint chip for a long time and they no longer make the color but HomeDepot was able to color match it in Behr paint that I love. I love the Behr paint with primer in it. It always goes on so easy and I love the satin finish. It is white with just a touch of grey.

Thank you Kris! Cant wait to see the finished room.
ReplyDeleteYou have been a busy little bee. I like the ruffles much better on the bench too. Can't wait for the reveal!
ReplyDeleteCynthia
Yup, the ruffle looks so much better on the ottoman - so pretty. I love how soft the night stand looks with the Pure White & Paris Gray mix - those pretty glass knobs just pop now! Lov'n all your pillows too.
ReplyDeleteMarie@InteriorFrugalista
If I can find 2 lamps today, then our master bedroom switch will be finished and I can post about it. Of course, mine began in September. You work a lot faster than me.
ReplyDeleteI love that you switched the ruffle from the valence to the bench.
Oh, I love it! This is just perfect....loving the colors you painted the walls and the night stands. I agree that the white is better, IMHO, than the cream. :)
ReplyDeleteAnxious to see the reveal!

We are re-painting the living room/dinning room in our wee townhouse this fall. I have to keep in mind that most of the year we live in dreary, cloudy weather. (North of Seattle) so that will have to be a consideration. I want a shade of white that will make me feel warm and cozy. The last paint was a white with a touch of grey. It was beautiful, but now it is time for a change. Wish me luck finding the right one.
ReplyDelete*Smiles*
I love it all. What is the brand of the paint on the walls? It's a pretty gray.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter wants to change her blue gray to a gray. I really don't want to, because it had been barely a year.
LOL....I wouldn't let my better half anywhere near a paint brush! I love the name of the wall paint!! And can't wait to see the reveal. xo
