Memories

I think we are all over this harsh winter throughout the country.  We all are dreaming of Spring and Summer.  We have seen record breaking snowfalls and unforgiving temps this winter here in the Midwest.  Not sure if we will ever see Spring but we can hope and dream of warmer days ahead.

I found some pictures of my flowers from last summer.  It gave me a smile and good feeling to look at them.  So I thought I would share that feeling with all of you.  I am not even going to write a caption on these just enjoy the view!

Here's hoping for warmer and prettier flower days ahead.

Even Midge wants the sunshine and warm weather to come!
Well have a great week and hopefully just maybe we will see flowers and be able to open the windows soon.
Have a great week.
Be sure to stop back on Saturday for Spotlight.  Susan and I have two new bloggers  for you to get to know better.

  1. Stunning is an understatement Kris. I love the outdoors and gardening and yours has given me a big smile! It does feel as if Will we ever see this again? You should belong on a garden tour in your area....I know it would be exclusively UNIQUE! All that pretty shabby-chic and pink!! Again, that bed turned into a sit back and enjoy your tea or lemonade is right up my alley (or deck!) Blessings~~~Roxie

  3. I can't wait to see your garden room again this spring. I am sure you will make changes there too.

It feels like summer here so spring must be ready to pop in at your house.

  4. Well, Kris, I guess Old Man Winter is just trying to out-do Mother Nature, as if to say, "if steroids work for the flowers, then it must be good for the snow, too!" LOL, but seriously, those are some big-honkin', beautiful floral sprays in your garden! I am totally ignoring today's forecast which is calling for snow, even here, where we had 74° yesterday! Spring, come soon - puh-leaz!

  7. Beautiful photos of your outside space with all the pink flowers. We were hit with another storm last night, got about 10 inches and lost power all morning.

  12. Well I know you are REALLY craving Spring since you've had such a horrible Winter this year! It seems like your state has been dealing with snow non-stop. We are having some nice weather this week, except tomorrow is supposed to change. But, it would probably feel like a heatwave to you! Your flower pictures from last year are beautiful. It almost gets too hot here to enjoy flowers all summer long. Spring is the best month here for our flowers.

  26. Bless your hearts. You have been hammered this winter and I bet you are longing for spring. We actually have had more of a winter with much lower temps and I think I lost quite a few things. I bought some flowers today but had to bring them in because of a freeze warning. I hope you have a warm up soon.
