I put them on my garden table by my front door. They are pure cement and weigh a ton. Just love the chippy grey coming through. Gotta love Home Goods. |
I also got this little bench at a thrift shop and painted the legs white and then added the burlap and burlap trim to it. |
It is in my entry way in front of the old gate for right now until I find a new home for it. |

Kris, That vignette is wonderful. I like the new wings. xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteWhat a good idea, swapping things. I love the texture on the angel wings, and I think you made great use of the valances. Your bird feeder looks so pretty.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like a perfect arrangement, because you have similar tastes. I love angel wings! I also love what you did to the table.
ReplyDeletehow great that the two of you can swap out items! love it all, and that bird feeder filled with goodies is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteLove your new finds, Kris! That beautiful piece you shared last is wonderful and I love it filled with all the pretty things you added. Love the table. I think that is a great idea that you and your friend do that.
ReplyDeleteKris I LOVE those angel wings and love your "new" coffee table too!!
ReplyDeleteKris...
ReplyDeleteYou are so talented. I really enjoy looking at your projects. The arrangement that you made with the birdfeeder is so sweet. And I am particularly fond of angel wings!
Have a wonderful day.
Tamara
How nice to have a friend to do swaps with!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Amy Jo
I love the white floral wreath very much, but not the cement angle wings.
ReplyDeleteLove your angel wings - and the cement ones also! LOL Also am crazy about your new coffee table - only you would take a valance and make a gorgeous coffee table. Love it!
ReplyDeleteJudy
Putting that valance around your 'free' coffee table was so creative, I don't know how you come up with these great ideas. You should put out a little book entitled Furniture Surprises! I love the gathering of spring lovelies in the little bird feeder.
ReplyDeleteHow nice that y'all can swap pieces or get a piece from each other. I love the little stool you found and the sweet cover you made. Cute, cute!
ReplyDeleteCan I just say Oh My. You inspire me with each and every post. My sis and I do the swap thing too. It works really well. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea to swap with your friend. I have a friend that we also do that. She is always changing more so than I do, so if her girls can't use it or don't like it then I am offered the item and I just received some great items not to long ago.
ReplyDeleteLove all the changes you made - I like the coffee table better - the other one I liked also but this one fits better in your living room.
You bird feeder is beautiful and looks great with the items you have in there.
Have a great week Kris. Hope FIL is doing much better.
Mary
Wow, you got a lot of white goodness going on, girlfriend! LOVE the wings...I've never seen any like that! Also, what a great idea to swap furniture with friends! Everything looks just fantastic :)
ReplyDeleteSusan
You always find the best things, I guess I need to get out more. I haven't found anything interesting in some time now. Are you getting all the rain and thunderstorms there?
ReplyDeleteSo nice that the two of you can swap goodies with each other. Love those angel wings...gotta check to see if I can find some.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Linda
Definitely a sweet post. I love what you do with your goodies. The curtains around the coffee table was like the icing on a cake :-) Love the bird dish-very cute!
ReplyDeleteI love the new table and I love the little skirt you added to it. The bench in the foyer is fabulous too. Thanks tons for linking to Inspire Me.
ReplyDeleteI need to start that swap thing with a sister or two! I really like those concrete wings - perfect size. For someone who claims they don't sew, you sure have a knack for transforming fabric into fabulous, Kris. Seriously - it looks tailor-made and very nice.
ReplyDeleteI don't know where to start. First off-what a great idea to swap those tables. How did Terry feel about it after he did the work on that table?;>) lol Or did you tell him? lol That burlap skirt is perfect and I love the way it looks.
ReplyDeleteThe bird dish is darling-what a great gift from Sandy and I love the little recovered bench you did, too.
AND FINALLY- I LOVE those angel wings-they are just darling-lots of detail and they LOOK like they weigh a ton. GREAT find!
Hope you had a good day-xo Diana

Beautiful eye candy goodies, Kris...the table looks wonderful! Love the angel wings, too!
ReplyDeleteKris,
ReplyDeleteA visit to your blog never disappoints! It delights with creatively thought out ideas and changes. Love the angel wings, being made from cement you can even enjoy them outdoors in a garden setting. You did a cute job on the bench, the birthday bird feeder is oh so sweet and someone to swap things around with sounds like a brilliant idea.
XO,
Vera

always fun to see what you are up to in restylin' your home Kris. Love your sweet angel wings. I bought a pair of huge angel wings from Decor Steals thinking I will use them this Christmas in decorating but in the meantime I hung them over the bed in my granddaughters' bedroom. They work perfectly in there to go along with my two darling little "angels". Ha! My youngest son said they look spooky...LOL....oh well. xoxo It's been raining heavily here for three days and stormy too. I am heading out to get my hair done this morning. The rain and humidity will turn it into a frizz ball soon as I leave the salon. :)
ReplyDeleteLove the angel wings, Kris! And your garden gate is a fav. You always put together the most wonderful vignettes!
ReplyDeleteHave a happy one ~
xo,
Lin
Oh my Kris, the angel wings were meant for you! Perfect for your home. Super sweet for sure. Love how you dressed up the new table. Swapping with your friend is such a clever idea. That stool is just darling also. Love it all put together! Happy rest of the week.

Alessandra
You have such a way Kris, with EVERYTHING - I love those Angel Wings !
ReplyDeleteAnd I love how the light shines in on your home showing off all of your white beauty - breathtaking really !
XOXO
Oh wow! Those wings are gorgeous! I was at Home Goods last week and they didn't have any at the store here. You know if they did I would have snatched them up! I can't believe you traded your beautiful table! I do like that one you got in trade and what you did with it is really cute! You always have such wonderful vision for pieces and what to do with them. Love that little stool too! I have a similar one that I picked up at a yard sale. I think it's a vanity bench and it swivels, but Jim didn't think it was sturdy enough for our bathroom. Actually, all furniture around here does get a work out with the kids climbing up to reach the sink and stuff, so I am planning on recovering the seat (it has a greyish velvet like fabric now but has paint or something on it). It's in may garage with all of the other furniture projects I need to attend to. Anyway, love that little bird feeder and the arrangement you put in it. I have one similar to it too! Just wish I had all of my stuff together like you do! OK, I'll stop rambling now :) Hugs, Leena
ReplyDeleteSo many SWEET things goin' on in the decor dept!! The old bench (you painted legs white) with the burlap top caught my eye. And those angel wings-love them! You give such great ideas with extra things in the house you haven't used.....thanks so much for all the inspiration! My head is spinning......I am decor deprived!! Can't wait to get into the mix of things soon~~~Blessings~~~~Roxie
ReplyDeleteCute! Too bad you are not here in Oregon! I could put you to work! LOL
ReplyDeleteI also know a couple great places to find shabby chic as well as stuff to work on altering!
I just love the pictures of your stunning home!!
ReplyDeleteAnd what a great idea to swap furniture with frienda, I must do this with my friends too :-) Love it!
Have a nice day :-)
