Julie Norkus is one of my fav vendors always has the cutest displays in her booth. You can visit her blog here. I loved this Spring sign she did up. I was taking photos with my phone so I was a little off center with this picture. This sign was fabulous. |
Again not the greatest pics with the I Phone but this vintage suit case was adorable with the jean lining. |
There were just all kinds of spring treasures. |
Well Hello..... This little bench screamed to me. This cutie came home with me and is going on my front porch for summer. Ohhhhh I cannot wait to decorate her with beautiful blooms. |
I could not resist this cute twig wreath and nest to hang on my mirror over the mantel at home. |
I got this cute Guest Cottage sign for my guest room. Another great creation of Julie. |
It was a nice day to walk the flea market. Smell the fresh air and look at all the fun and funky treasures. Hope your week will be a good one. Kris :) |
That sign is so cute! I would have snagged that too for my guest room.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great day to me, Kris! Love your new Guest Cottage sign. It looks like lots of great things were on display. I'm loving that hall tree in black. I have a hall tree I painted before we moved and this is a good view of how it would look in black.
ReplyDeleteKris, Going to flea markets is so tempting. See too many cute things. I love that little sign...just perfect above the bed. xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteOH, that looks so fun, Kris! I can't wait to go to our flea here!! You got some fun treasures-love the little bench :)

Isn't it wonderful that Spring is here--or close--and flea markets, yard sales, and such are beginning again? It's like everyone's waking up! I see at least 5 things I'd love to have. Sure makes me want to get out. That bench is wonderful--and the jeans lining=inspiration! I feel like I've been neglecting you lately--with being away and then all kinds of happenings around here. So glad I have a few minutes today to catch up. Hugs, Dru
ReplyDeleteI love the guest cottage sign! That was a great find.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Amy Jo
Lucky you, our hottest day so far has ben 56 and now back to rain. I so wish we had a flea market in my neck of the woods. I know the bench will be just charming once your done with it :)
ReplyDeleteThe second I saw the bench I was in Love ~~ So happy you chose it!! I'm sure you will love it! I'm heading back to Sweet Salvage in a couple weeks, can't wait! Happy Monday!! Blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeleteGreat finds Kris. You really have such good luck, but I think you have a good eye for what you can do with things. that is a gift. So glad that the weather cooperated with you and that all your favorite vendor where there.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week.
Mary
No door mon ami???
ReplyDeleteYou find the greatest things Kris - really !
That bench has your name written all over it - can't wait to see it with flowers :)
XOXO
Kris,
ReplyDeleteWhat a delightful fun day you had in early Spring. Looks like an impressive flea market, love the blackboard (?) sign. Your bench is lovely and I look forward to seeing it after you stage it with a floral vignette. I adore all your new finds and you go girl, hanging up that wonderful Guest cottage sign already. Love it all.
XO,
Vera
You did great, Kris. Temps in the 60's sounds really nice. I think we'll be there by the end of the week. It'll be fun to see that bench on your porch with flowers. I love it! ~ Nancy
ReplyDeleteWe went to the flea market last weekend too. It was pure heaven with great sunshine and lots of beautiful things to see. Your new guest cottage sign is so cute! I need one of those.
ReplyDeleteFirst I want to say I love the redone table with the pretty legs! Great job! I loved some of your flea market signs too! The jean lining in the suitcase, your new guest sign and the bench! I know it will be filled with beautiful flowers soon!! Nancy
ReplyDeleteKris- What great finds. Is that a miniature bench? It is hard to tell cuz I don't know if those are shutters or doors behind the bench....which reminds me I am surprised you didn't bring THOSE doors (shutters?) home with you, too. Glad you and Terry got out and had some fun walking around. That guest sign is adorable and PERFECT for MY room! xo Diana
ReplyDeleteOh, if I could have afforded it, that jean lined case would have come home with me. The outside reminds me of one my dad had years ago!
ReplyDeleteKris...you found some awesome goodies!! I can't wait for the huge flea market that is next month at our Fairgrounds. It is my favorite one and I look forward to it every year in the Spring and Fall.
ReplyDelete~Cindy
Lucky gal. I love flea markets but we do not have that many in our area. That suitcase is adorbs!
ReplyDeleteOh Kris... that bench is so sweet! Perfect for spring and summer porch arrangements. I see a couple of metal planters in another photo that I would have brought home with me. Looks like you had a gorgeous day.
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful finds. We don't really have flea markets like that, but I am looking forward to getting out to the yard sales. xo Laura
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful flea market, Kris. I can only dream of such kind of events. You found some great pieces for your lovely home. Have fun with your new treasures!
ReplyDeleteJulia
So much fun Kris! I can't wait to see what you do with the bench. The wreath is perfect for your mantel and the sign looks so pretty over the bed. You did good :-)
ReplyDeleteWe have nothing like your lovely markets here Kris. I'm so jealous! My hubby just got back from a work trip to Florida. I've never been to the US but living there is tempting when I see all the lovely treasures! Maybe I'll visit one day. :)
ReplyDeleteI can't think of a better thing to do on the weekend.......we don't have flea markets like that down here....😞 Your bench is adorable Kris and like you, I cannot wait to Springify my porches. I did buy the prettiest huge ferns yesterday. Just putting one on the front porch said "instant Spring".
ReplyDeletesuch a sweet little bench, kris:) cute sign, too--i think i need one for my backyard cottage:) have a great day!
