Just wanted to post about a door yes that's correct a new old door for me! Yep my obsession with doors continues. I may need an intervention one of these days. LOL!
Anyway I was in my fav shop in Morris, Illinois called Vintage. Cassie that owns the shop is so sweet and has some of the best vendors inside her shop. Well I came across this door.
It was white and chippy and well..... you know how the story goes it had to come home with me.
I love the way the chandeliers reflect in the mirror now. So this plan ole chippy door was great by itself but just wanted to give her a little bling. Have a great week end. Be sure to come by Saturday for Spotlight and get to know a couple of really fun bloggers Susan and I have lined up for you. I am heading out on a jet plane (remember that song!) with the hubby for a little get away to the East Coast for my birthday. I have never been and when Sandi from Cottage Muse was talking about her white show I thought hmmm maybe I need to take a trip out her way. This week end in Wrentham, Mass. I am going to their At Home With White Show that Sandi is in. I also hope to meet Susan from Evelyn and Rose and Michelle from Petite Michelle Louise. They live in this area and go to this show and are friends with Sandi. So we are all hoping to meet up in person. It will be fun. I just hope I find things I can take home with me on the plane LOL! Have a super week end. Kris :) |

Just imagine if all those doors in your house suddenly became magical and entered into more white rooms! Just like Alice in Wonderland! I also like the way the chandeliers reflect in the mirror - it almost looked like the mirror was stenciled at first (to me). Have a great weekend, Kris!

Hi Kris, just starting to get caught up with my email. Another door, I am so jealous, I love it and the mirror was such a great idea. Love the reflection of the chandelier!!! My hubby just walked behind me and I said I want an old door for our new house to decorate with and he said fine we will go find one. I am getting fitted for a very light weight graphite brace and it is going to be amazing. I can walk so much better that my girlfriend and I started crying when I tried one out at the doctor I am going to gave me one to try. This is his specialty. It takes pressure off my leg and foot so I don't get as fatigued. When it is finished I am going to pot about the big news and the abilities it will give me.
ReplyDeleteCynthia
Love the idea of the mirror. The reflection is wonderful! Wonder if there is a door aholics anonymous? lol!
