Update On Painted Blue Porch

Hi Everyone.  Hope the new week is starting out great for all of you.

Just wanted to show a little update to the new painted pretty blue porch.  You can see the post on the painted porch here.

Painted the ugly cement porch blue over the week end and it needed a new rug.
Found this cute yellow and white one at Home Goods.



Yep I am liking the way it sets off the blue porch and brings out the yellow in the front cottage door.

    Wow- That looks SO great all pulled together, Kris. Is that REAL flowers on your door? It is amazing and gorgeous! Please don't make me feel inadequate by telling me that is LIVING flowers! lol Your other flowers are perfect out front. I went with blue and pink on my porch this year and really need to get out there and give it a good cleaning. Tomorrow, I think-not today.

    I am done helping with school, I have nothing on my plate right now - I am going to follow your lead and get my porch painted. I am torn between a blue like yours or a red. But, I have a yellow and white striped rug already.

    Love the pop of yellow! Great job! I also love, love, love the rug. I have got to get to work on my front porch. It is so dull since all my flowers died while I was in Nasvhille. The black bench alone is blah! Yes, thanks for the inspiration. That will be my next project.

    I've always loved the yellow and blue color combo, they really work well together. I also love quatrefoil-patterned decor like rugs, pillows and curtains. I'd say you got a great deal!

    Yes that rug is perfect! It rained here today and we are only an hour west of Chicago. Aren't you afraid that hat will get blown away? I know it would here with the terrible winds we get sometimes. Nancy

    Kris, I don't know the reason, either on my end or yours, but your pictures are taking a REALLY long time to open so I'm writing a comment on something I haven't even seen yet BUT, I do know that it is beautiful and perfect and that I will just love it when I see it.
