Happy Sunday.
I received a new angel for my angel collection and I wanted to show you.
Cathy Pendleton for The Cheswick Company sells on Etsy and has finished products and also kits and patterns you can buy to make yourself. I have always loved her beautiful angels and try to collect one each year.
This is my second angel I got from Cathy. She was a special Christmas Angel. |
This was a third angel I purchased for a friend for her birthday last year. |
This is my newest to the collection. The Harvest Angel. I just received her a few days ago. When I do up the mantel this fall in my white and tan harvest pumpkins she will look so cute. |
I also moved this old chippy bench in from the garden to go under the mantel. I want to do some cute things with it for fall. |
She looks pretty happy in the wreath for now. She will look so cute when I do up my mantel for fall. Just not ready to let go of summer quite yet to do that. |
Cathy's angel just speak to me softly and I love them to be around me in my home. The sweet Joy they give me. |
Cathy put her in the cutest little vintage coat with a velvet pumpkin in her hands. Thanks Cathy I love her and she is a great new addition to my collection. If you would like to make one of these pretties, you know you people that can sew! visit Cathy's Etsy for the pattern. She also has so many other wonderful patterns and finished pieces. Have a great rest of the week end. Thank you always for you your visits and sweet comments. I really appreciate the time you take to visit and leave a comment for me. Kris :) |
Kris, Cathy's angels are beautiful, and your newest one is no exception! She has the sweetest face! Love your little chippy bench, too :)

Aww, she is just darling. What a great idea to add one to your collection every year. I love them all :)
ReplyDeleteKris, I think I would love one of those myself. What cute touches, the little sweaters and coats. I can see why you love them. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteShe is beautiful. xo Laura
ReplyDeleteI love your newest angel, from her halo down to her painted shoes! Her vintage jacket is absolutely adorable. Your entire mantel wall looks amazing with your signature vintage windows, Kris! Pinned it. :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous angels! I love each and every one of them and you decorate with them so well.
ReplyDeleteAll the angels look beautiful! Makes me wish i could sew. :-p

Oh Kris, your new angel is so pretty - I just love her. All of your angels are so special and always look so good where ever you place them.
ReplyDeleteYour new Fall angel will look s good with your fall decorations. I am so ready for Fall that I can hardly wait. I may go to the messy garage and start working on some decorations. I first have to power wash the front porch, which means take everything off. So this will be a good time to change things up. Now if I just have energy to do this, as my COPD has been acting up and makes me so tired.
Have a great rest of Sunday and a wonderful sunny week.
Mary
They all are so beautiful!

All your angles are wonderful, but I am just loving this new one, Kris! I am going to have to go check Cathy's shop out (see if she might want to be a part of my blog feature on Sundays!).

ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable face your new little angel has! I'll have to check out her shop, can't wait to see how you decorate for fall this year Kris.
ReplyDeleteI love your new little angel. I love that she has a burlap like jacket on, she is perfect to be called the Harvest Angel.
ReplyDeleteOh Kris, I love your collection of angels but your newest has the sweetest face, she's a real keeper!! I love angels and will need to go over to Cathy's place to check out the possibility of adding one to my small collection! Thank you for sharing her! Blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeleteOh how darling kris. You have a beautiful
ReplyDeleteCollection. My mom would love these. Adding Cathy's etsy. This is the perfect gift for my mom.
Angels for an angel!
ReplyDeleteI wondered, when you said that you brought in the bench, if your weather was getting crazy. Some people said there was a lot of rain and flooding in the midwest.
Kris...your angels are so beautiful. I had been wondering if she sold the pattern, but I couldn't find it. Thanks for sharing a link to her Etsy Shop. I'm going to get the pattern tomorrow.

Cute angel, but that bench.....oh so many possibilities!! Can't wait to see what you do with it!
ReplyDeleteKris,
ReplyDeleteGot home very late last night from our weekend with friends at their Westport Connecticut home. I took a blog break since Friday and now playing catch up!
Loving your new Fall angel, adorned with a precious face and adorable spiral curls! I am a huge velvet pumpkin lover, I really kind of go crazy with them in the Fall. I can see you planning out the mantel and bench displaying some velvet pumpkins to add texture into your decorating mix. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with, since I already know it will be romantic and dreamy. What did you name your cute angel?
I am hoping/planning to put up a new post tonight.
XO,
Vera
Everything looks lovely, I especially love that bench! And your little angel sitting in the wreath is just adorable!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sally. I Love that bench too. So happy it got a nice warn look with being out in the garden this summer. It is perfect now to bring in. Have a great start to the new week.

Oh this newest Angel is my absolute favorite Kris ! How beautiful - love her little jacket !

Kris, your harvest angel is really pretty. Not only do I like her hair, coat and pumpkin, but I love the detail Cathy puts into the eyes. I saw your changes to your office (love the chippy, 3-tiered stand, esp with the clocks in the upper tier), but have you switched things up or settled into your arrangement in the DR? I know you were debating it, just wondering (besides stealing the chair for the office!). Happy Monday!

Kris, love your angel collection. The bench is beautiful and I can just imagine it decked out with white pumpkins, some burlap and mums. My idea not yours, LOL. Can't wait to see what you do to surround that beautiful angel.

ReplyDeleteshe's a cutie, kris! love the bitty pumpkins:) you have a sweet collection of angels to look over you:) off to check out that etsy site--have a great day!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet Angel collection!
ReplyDeleteKris she is darling! And I love the chippy bench you brought indoors. It has been in the lower 70's here and feels so Fall like. Got me in the mood and I have started. 'Harvesting' is this years theme I am leaning towards.
ReplyDeletehugs,
Jann
Oooohhhhh I love your new angels! They are both so sweet - just adorable! I'm not one of those sewing people, so would have to go with pre-made too. That little one looks so sweet sitting in the wreath! I'm glad you didn't go with fall decorations yet. I want more summer! Seems like we waited so long for it to get here! Thank you for sharing your pretties! They are making my morning! Hugs, Leena
ReplyDeleteYou are killing me... when I saw your first one, Grace, I ordered her (the kit) right away. Well needless to say she is still in the box waiting to become mine. I have my Daughter (and Grandaughters wore it too) Christening dress and she will proudly wear it, but I have to get her out of the box to do that! You are just giving me too many ideas! Your new little Angel is adorable and can't wait to see her own your fall mantel!
