Happy Thursday! Wow I cannot believe we are heading into Labor Day Week End.
This summer has gone by so fast. I love fall but with that really hard winter I am cherishing the summer days still left for us here in the midwest.
I wanted to show you my new ottoman I found on Etsy. I wanted a little something with a ruffle to keep a soft feel to the reading chair in the back of my dining room.

| Debbie has an eclectic amount of vintage pretties in her shop. I thought this ottoman was the perfect match with my Ikea slipcovered chair. Love it! I need to find covers for two large couches in my Living room....I love the ruffles but would prefer to have a darker beige color...Your home is gorgeous as always! You are always gracious to share your posts with others...you have a very kind and sharing heart.. Blessings!

ReplyDeleteThat's a pretty ottoman! It looks like it came with your chair. I love shopping on Etsy too. I've used them quite a few times when I'm looking for something specific. I like it better than Ebay since you don't have to bid on items.

ReplyDeletePurple Flower Fairy is one of my favs on Etsy. :) I love the soft, cozy look of your new ottoman with chair. Chairs & ottomans are my latest love - I just discovered a Duchesse-Brisee - separate French his & her chairs with a shared ottoman. The three can be put together as a chaise, or separated as a chair w/ ottoman and another chair, or two chairs side-by-side with an ottoman for another seat. Love!!! :)

I can't believe how quickly you located and received the new ottoman! I know I'm behind on reading your posts, but it cracks me up that last night I read that you wanted something other than the little foot stool and today I'm reading about this fabulous new ottoman. it's like damn she's good! LOL! I love it! I looks like it was made to pair with your chair - so comfy! If I ever make it for a visit, I'm parking my tuckus in that chair! Love it... and your gorgeous pillows! Now that's a corner I could spend ALOT of time in. I love to read...when I can sit still! I have on old black Ikea chair and ottoman tucked away and I think it's time I got it out and maybe a couple of drop cloths and get to work, I could have a corner of my own in my new sewing room. I'm working my behind off on that room this summer getting all my yarn, fabrics, scrappy packs etc. organized and finding their new home. I've painted walls, put shelves together including a big cube shelf from Ikea (love that store) and am repainting and repurposing lots of goodies. I guess I've spent my summer either in the gardens or that room. Now I'll have a craft room and a sewing room... I really am blessed! Keep your lovely and creative décor coming, I have a board on Pinterest labeled Junk Chic Cottage and refer to it often when I'm looking for new ideas!
