Happy Wednesday. I am really excited and getting ready for my friend Susan from Must Love Junk and her hubby Keith to come into Chicago October 2nd.
They came in last year and stayed downtown Chicago and took the train out to meet up. This year they will stay with me for a few days and that way we can fit in more junkin stops!! They will get junkin in the burbs with us and then will still have a few days for the Chicago City Life.
I have been changing things up in the guest room and getting it all comfy for them to stay.

Oh, Kris, everything looks just gorgeous! And all those fantastic shops...I'm ready for some serious junkin'! (We might have to rent a U-haul to drive home-lol!) Can't wait! :)

What great fun! I miss having buddies who junk with me. Most of my friends are now busy with grandbabies. I would be too if mine lived closer. I love the extra duvet. So very pretty. I'm still looking for things to fix my room like yours.

ReplyDeleteOh Kris, Susan is one lucky girl, and as for having Susan and her Keith both staying with you this sounds like way to much fun! Take lots of photos and share previous Susan with us we all adore her almost as much as we adore you! Lol just kidding here but to have such beautiful company is fun enough, all the girl chatter about shabby cottage Chicness and junkin about as well as being able to enjoy the sites sounds divine !! So wish I was the plus 3 and you were preparing another guest room for moi ! Well my girlies have fun, and I will be visiting Susan asking her about your dreamy room, and all the dun she had with you :)

Well, I can see ONE BIG MISTAKE you made there! They are NOT going to want to go home and they will become permanent members of your household! lol Oh- they are going to LOVE visiting you and you are ALL going to have a ball.
