Here is a couple of the items I got for myself at Nellie's Barn Sale last week end and what I did with them.
Cute broom wreath for the laundry room |
New Paris Sign to hang in the kitchen. |
This is one of the two great old crown moldings I found. Hmmm what to do with those...... |
I thought my bedroom window needs a little something. Bear with me with these photo's it is hard to get good pics from this window with how the light comes in the room especially on these rain filled days. |
Terry cut the pieces to fit this window and then used chalk to fill in the seam. |
Here is the header attached before touch up paint along with my assistant Libby the little photo bomber.
Then I just touched up some spots with a little paint. I wanted to keep as much chippy as I could.
This is the window done with the header all chalked and painted. Yep, my assistant still in the same spot!!!!
Have a great rest of the week end. Happy Sunday to all of you.
Kris :)

Perfect! That looks so well done! Love the little whisk broom wreath too - I have a weakness for those, and may just have one laying around, waiting to be primped similarly. You always share great inspiration, Kris, thanks. Have a great Sunday and start of the week.

I just LOVE your house and know I would feel right at home there. It is just filled with warmth and love. I have to ask you- did you have to put the floors in or were they there when you moved in? They are gorgeous!!!

Great finds! I love all the white...it looks like heaven. So peaceful and serene.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh Kris, the molding is a fabulous find! I love how it looks above the window! I went to an estate sale, flea sale, and yard sale on Saturday. Hubby said, 'please don't buy any more furniture.' lol! I was a good girl and didn't. The week before is when I bought the filing cabinet and another piece that you are going to love! Reminded me of you when I first spied it. Yup, it's white. I will show it on Thursday. I love the wreath and if you don't mind I might copy you. I bought a twiggy wreath at a yard sale and I have a well worn whisk broom. Been meaning to tell you that I am so sorry that my hairdresser has never made the garden gate holder for you. She ended up having another daughter get married. She hasn't forgotten, but no promises as to when she might git it done.
ReplyDeletehugs,
Jann
