Happy Wednesday!
I took a ride out in the country to Nellie's Barn Sale about an hour and a half from my home this past Saturday. It was a great country back roads ride.
Terry and I took the drive together. It was a beautiful day. Sun shining and in the 60's. With the trees starting to change colors it was a really pretty drive.
Nellie's Barn sales are always the best. This is her fall show and it did not disappoint. Over 40 vendors with really wonderful treasures for sale.
Kris, That truly looked like a great place to go shopping. I loved the signs too. Lots of nice old chairs too. I think you missed a door there Kris. :):) Bless your heart, xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteWow, that's my kind of show! I just adore those vendors' displays. Such a clever mix and I'm not surprised the truck door sold right away. It's so unique. Love all those signs, too.
ReplyDeleteYour daughter will appreciate her cute gifts from you - hope she doesn't read your blog!
I bet Terry got a big kick out of that sign at the entrance, with Mr. skeleton husband. :)
Kris- What a GREAT sale. My Gosh- you just find the best markets and sales and shops! Loved the husband sign on entering. I have to say that I broke out in a big grin when I saw that snowman and santa in the back of your vehicle looking out the back women. lol Too funny. Have a great rest of the week. xo Diana ps. I like the milk sign you bought before the best (of the two).
ReplyDeleteSo fun! I could have spent a fortune there. I wish we have more of these outdoor flea markets out here.
ReplyDeleteOh you lucky girl! That sale looked fantastic. It reminded me of the country living fair. I loved so many things you shared. Your daughter is going to love what you bought her. They are so cute and unique.

ReplyDeleteHello Kris... oooh, what fun!... I wish we had someplace like that close to me... I would have gone crazy, especially over those vintage plaid wool blankets... and the signs... and the primitives...and, well... everything!... and such a perfect Autumn day for a barn sale!... please post your finds soon!... xoxo... Julie Marie
ReplyDeleteAs I was reading this, I knew that you were going to tease us and not show your finds.
ReplyDeleteI am thinking of decorating Steve's beach cruiser for Halloween. I can't paint it and add flowers because he rides it a lot, but I think I can do a Halloween vignette for the next few weeks.
You need to tell us about these sales BEFORE you go so we can join you!!
ReplyDeleteKris,
