Chippy Salvage Candle Sticks

Happy Wednesday!  Hope your week is going good.

I wanted to show you how I used some old salvage pieces of wood for candle holders.

Just found some old table legs and chippy stair posts to make these candle holders.  Simple and easy they were already chippy and had the screws coming through the top to sink the candle on.

Just a very easy way to add some charm to candles.

My Living Room looks so lonely since I sold my slipcovered sectional.  I am hoping to get my new leather sectional soon.  In the meantime Terry still has his comfy recliner and I pulled my chair out from the corner. So it is all good.

Hope your week is starting off great.
Make sure to come back on Saturday for Spotlight.  Susan and I have two wonderful bloggers for you to get to know.

  13. Well, aren't you clever! I never would have thought to use table legs as candle holders! I love that the built in screw can hold the candle in place too. Very smart! Hopefully your leather will arrive soon. I just noticed how gorgeous your wood floors are!

  23. Old Mother Hubbard went to the cupboard
To get her poor doggy a bone,
But on the way there she noticed her living room was bare
So she said--Oh What have I done?

While she waits for a new couch
    She certainly won't slouch
She'll make candle holders out of a post.
    And when she is done,
    She have even more fun
And make Terry a big old beef roast.

yeah- it's late and I am still crazy.......

  39. Love, love, love your style and you and Terry are so creative! I adore your candlesticks and wish I had an old table to take apart. I have inherited all my father's saws and tools and we are kinda clueless, but we did cut some shelf planks for my craft room last weekend...does that count??? I haven't been receiving your posts, but was glad to catch up with you today! Minnesota is gonna be in the low teens early next week and talking snow... bet Illinois isn't any better, I'm dreaming of white... but white sand, not snow!
    Hugs!!!
