Last Wednesday Night I went to a Fun Christmas Open House at Tattered Tiques and many other Shops joined in the fun that night too.
It was so fun to see all the fun vignettes around the shop. I did not take a lot of pictures with it being so crowded. |
Lot's of yummy treats were out at each shop. Yum love eating and shopping! |
So many sweet old vintage pieces everywhere. |
Cute glamper ornaments with trees. |
Kris, I love the pictures you did get. It's fun to see all these wonderful ideas and Christmas decorations. I do love the birch logs tied with the red ribbon and pine cones. So cute. You are right about this cold , it is a time to get some decorating done. Blessings, stay warm. xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteOh! Kris!!!! You just gave me the best idea about what to do with my fireplace grates (I have two similar to yours). I am going to copy that idea!!! Thank you so much for the idea!!!! I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to go to that show! I would have squeezed my butt into your car and made you take me if I lived closer!!!! lol xo Diana
ReplyDeleteKris, I absolutely love what you did with the birch logs in your log holder! It's perfect. That open house looked wonderful. It is cold here in NJ but no snow as of yet. Stay warm!!
ReplyDeleteI love the birch logs you found for sale! They look great jazzed up for the holidays. I love going to shopping events like that this time of year. The only problem is how crowded they usually are. Sorry to hear that you're covered up in snow already. I remember you dreading it a few weeks ago, because you know it's here to stay for awhile. Hopefully, the sun is shining though!
ReplyDeleteI love the fireplace log holder. I guess I've seen it before. I don't know but I sure like it all decorated for Christmas. I'm slow at getting started this year. Maybe a trip to Hobby Lobby today will make me feel better and get me moving. It sure feels like Christmas here with the temps falling.
ReplyDeleteThese are such pretty Christmassy ideas! Our daughter has Scrabble tiles on a buffet, and they spell out a couple Christmas words. I made sure to rearrange the letters when she wasn't looking (as she always did with my large N.O.E.L. letters when she was a kid. I'd walk into the room and the letters would spell out LENO or LEON. Grrr.) LOL
ReplyDeleteKris,
ReplyDeleteWell I must say....I am jealous that you live near Tattered Tiques...I hope to come up your way this summer and shop with them. Enjoy your early snow...we don't have any snow...but we have the COLD temps.
Blessings,
Linda

ReplyDeleteWhat pretty Christmasy goodies. I love Christmas time and visiting quaint little shops. In fact I was in one today in downtown Prattville. It was packed to the gills with every sort of Christmas decor. I picked up a cute Jim Shore nutcracker owl ornament, a birthday gift for my sister in law. I'm going to go back again without the hubs and take my time looking around.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fun place to shop for Christmas goodies! Your logs are perfect in your old log holder, Kris, and will fit right into your Nordic look this year.
ReplyDeleteI hope you're not snowed in!!

The logs are perfect! The giant scrabble letters are so fun! Looks like a really fun evening. I went to a sale at my hairdressers salon on Friday night and found a cute bottle brush tree. I was wishing that I had taken a few photos.
