Happy Sunday. I decided to do a winter garden theme in my front entry. I have been adding the Nordic red to the rest of my decor but up front I wanted to keep it simple and neutral just a few touches of winter garden theme.
|
My Hope Angel sits on the white chippy chair as you come in the entry way. |
|
I love the serenity she gives to my decor. |
|
White winter wreath with some angel wings and winter roses. |
|
My entry way. Just winter ribbons, and winter floral added here and there. |
|
Found this up on the roof top vintage christmas book to add on the bench. |
|
Added some holiday ribbon to my winter wreath on the old chippy garden gate. There is a little bit of the blue again in my watering can sprinkler head and the old garden faucet.
|
|
Just wanted to keep it pretty simple up front. |
|
My love birds in this cage have their bottle brush Christmas tree for their home decor along with some glitter winter white roses. |
|
So as we slide on into this Thanksgiving week I wish all of you a safe and happy gathering with friends and family.
Why is it that this time of the season goes so quickly and then January through March just drag!!!!
Have a great week. Kris :) |
danke für die tollen bilder und inspirationen!!! einen schönen sonntag wünscht angie
ReplyDeleteEverything is so sweet, calm and beautiful. Love the wreath at your door and that sweet bench! Have a wonderful day. Di@Cottage-Wishes
ReplyDeleteOh, I really like the angel on the white chippy chair. (I had a white chippy chair about 15 years ago which I threw out. Who would have known then how popular they would become!) Love the effect. And also I'm noticing more shutters on walls. Whoever originally thought of this had a stroke of brilliance. I love the look. It is so pretty in your home!
ReplyDeleteHello Kris... sooo loving your winter whites... your Hope angel is so pretty!... and I really love your vintage Up on the Rooftop book, so fun... I have that same papery wreath, only in pink... your white one is perfect!... wishing you a very beautiful Thanksgiving filled with abundant blessings... xoxo... Julie Marie
ReplyDeleteIt looks so beautiful and cosy, I am in love.
ReplyDeleteThese little birds are so sweet<3

Everything is so beautiful. What a calming and soothing entry for your guests! Love that sweet angel. I agree with you about time flying now and then the rest of the winter dragging on. Hope you are having a wonderful weekend, Kris! Courtney
ReplyDeleteIt's all just beautiful, you always pull a space together that's magazine worthy. Is the bottle tree in the birdcage attached to a side lamp stand? It's so pretty!!
ReplyDeleteIt's all so lovely and peaceful. You have such a way of bringing it all together, Kris. The rusty white gate with the boots and the watering can just hit the spot for me and I love the book too! Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteHappy, sweet Sunday!
Tamara
So very pretty! Anytime you want to sell me that garden gate you just let me know. :)
ReplyDeleteKris, It is all very beautiful. I love the wings on the wreath. Plus the love birds. The greenery is just right. Blessings for a fabulous week. xoxo, Susie
ReplyDeleteSo pretty, Kris! xoox I love the wreath and angel! I love all the white!
ReplyDeleteEverything you do is gorgeous, Kris! It was fun to see you Friday night at the holiday market. I tend to think of you when I'm out shopping and see white, chippy architectural pieces. And I'm happy to say I found something white and chippy (and a little rusty) yesterday to hang over the new sectional - so that blank wall is now filled and the room is done. I'm revealing it the week after Thanksgiving. Can't wait for you to see your old sectional in its new home. Did your new one arrive yet?
ReplyDeleteKris,
ReplyDeleteScrolling through your photo essay today I felt my blood pressure dropping and a sense of the creativeness you went through with your vignettes. I just know you want to convey hope and peace and quietness throughout the Holiday season ... you did it - very beautifully.
Oh how I love your wreaths and the vintage Santa book is amazing. I wish you love and happiness, Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.
xoxo
I like the décor in your entry area. I agree that this time of year flies by while the other months drag. Sometimes I like the quiet of January though after all the commotion of December. It's nice to not have so much on the calendar.
ReplyDeleteYour entry way is just beautiful! I love the white winter wreath and how lucky to find that up on the roof top vintage book! So sweet that your love birds have their own Christmas tree! I think those bottle brush trees are so pretty. Wishing you and your family a safe and happy Thanksgiving week as well! :)
ReplyDeleteSoooooo pretty...I love the bench!!! Your angel is so beautiful sitting on the chair waiting to greet your guests :o)

ReplyDeleteThere is so much that I love about this. I really hate winter so I normally find nothing to like about it lol. You have shown me that we can make it beautiful. I adore the white boots and the bird cage. The bench is lovely and cozy looking with the pillows and throw. You have so much talent and such an eye for detail. Thanks for making me think a little differently about winter!
ReplyDeleteYour entry looks fabulous! Your angel is always a favorite of mine.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Amy JO
Everything is so fresh and pretty, Kris. I love it. Happy Thanksgiving to you & yours!!!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Lin
I love every little details. It is all so pretty and well thought out. Your entry is definitely ready for winter!
ReplyDeleteAwwwwwh! Yes, winter, my favorite time of year. I love your winter whites and the wreath is so adorable, Kris I have been wanting to do a twiggy wreath of greens and grey's, yet white would work with my decor as well.
ReplyDeleteYour whole vignette brings out the play in me, if I were your ThanksGiving holiday family guest, I would be about your home checking out every little detail, oooohing and awwww-ing!! every sweet white touch in your home.
You know I have a friend who does a holiday craft sell right from her home she sells by creating a holiday event with a couple of friends, sets up in her home, great music, and cookies and does well, very well. Your home reminds me of hers and how well you would do at something like this as well. Perhaps next year it's a thought for you and a friend, I know if I were closer I sure would be first in line.
Happy ThanksGiving beautiful.
Xoxo
