Hope all your Christmas Decor Jingle is going great and all the baking, shopping and cleaning and getting ready for Santa's big day is fun and not a lot of stress.
I wanted to show you a cute little inexpensive neighbor gift I made for each of my sweet neighbors this year for Christmas.
It all starts with a Decor Steals cookie jar. It is hard to see but it is imprinted in the glass with Fresh Homebaked Cookies. Red cute top to the jars. |
Found this cute neighbor house Christmas bag at the Dollar Store. Fold out wide to hold the cookie jars. |
Added my home baked cut out cookies. |
Added some cute gingham ribbon to the jars. |
Now for a big Hug and Thank you!!!
I got a sweet little surprise treat in the mail last week from Sandi @ Wayside Treasures Blog. Sandi sent this as a little thank you for having her in the Spotlight Feature. Not necessary but so appreciated. Sandi has an Etsy Shop too and makes these pretty items. |
Love her hand stamped fabric ribbons and she also made this beautiful angel wing ornament for me. Sandi it was a sweet surprise and I just love this. If you have not visited Sandi's blog or Etsy please hop over there you will love her blog and her creative items she sells. Thank you sweet Sandi. Happy days ahead as you get your jingle on! Happy Decorating and holiday preparing as the week slides quickly along. Kris :) |

Kris, Those are the sweetest neighbor gifts. :) You are very nice to your neighbors. Last year Sandi sent me one of her sweet angel wings. I hang it on my everyday wreath with the grandkids pictures. She is an amazing crafter and so kind. But then, so are you!! I am going to look for those little house bags now. LOL Hope you are having a good day. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

You are so sweet. I love the gift you got and the ones for your neighbors. Cut out iced cookies used to be a favorite of mine. I might try to do some gluten free ones. Happy Holidays.

What darling gift ideas! Thank you for the inspiration Kris! XX Jo
ReplyDeleteThese are all very beautiful decorations. I have been looking for something to put in my cabin, but I'm not having the best of luck. I'm thinking that I can get some rugs and lamps. I think that would help make it look a little fuller. http://www.americannaturalresources.com/cms.php?id_cms=1
ReplyDeleteLove the neighbor gifts . . . love your sweet gifts from Sandi . . . and I am going to copy her idea of stamping my ribbon with Merry Christmas.
ReplyDeleteGreat neighbor gifts and I LOVE the red gingham ribbon!
ReplyDeleteKris, what a fabulous idea! I bought one of those for me at a shop in St. George. That very day I saw them later on Décor Steals. Was not even thinking about Christmas at the time, but what a darling gift and your cookies look so yummy. I am making sweet Chex Mix for my neighbors. May need to head to Walmart for a jar. Not as cute as this, but still fun. Love your sweet thank you's from Sandi!
ReplyDeletehugs,
Jann
I'd love to have you for my neighbor, Kris. And not because of the gits you give, but because of how sweet you are. You're so thoughtful and kind. Your cookies are so pretty and must taste great. Cookies with coffee are perfection. I received the fur coat tote and hot chocolate and can't wait to wrap them up and ship them off to my grands, with the rest of their presents, and share the random acts of kindness. I know they'll be inspired. Thank you for your generosity, my friend. XO ~ Nancy
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet idea!
ReplyDeleteOh Kris, what a cute idea about the cookies jar. Now I really want to do this for my neighbors too. Sadly we live in the neighborhood, where neighbors don't really talk to each other. : (
ReplyDeleteI'm sure it looks really beautiful at night. I love how you incorporated your wonderful chippy pieces outside. It looks amazing, Kris!
ReplyDeleteGreat ideas and wonderful gifts Kris!....Hey, did you know that I live next door? !!! :)
