The Mystery of Lucy and the Dark Woods

Happy Sunday.   I am so excited for this post today.

My good blogging buddy and wonderful friend Diana that so many of you know from her blog Nana Diana Takes a Break has written her first book.

Yep!!!! I was able to get an early copy of her book and read it before it was available for purchase.  I have to tell you I loved it.  In fact I loved it so much I am going to do a post for her and also a give away of her wonderful book.
This is the actual cover of this wonderful summer read and guess what that is Diana on the cover.



This is a beautifully told story and you will fall in love with Lucy the main character in her book.  Diana will capture you with her beautiful writing style as she tells Lucy's story.
With Diana's beautiful descriptions of the characters you will feel like you know them all personally.

The book is about Lucy's journey to learn about life, what love really is and heart ache and loss.  You will learn about her precious gift of knowing things before they happen and how that fairs throughout her life.
It will keep you wanting to know what is going to happen next in Lucy's life.

I've been so busy with vacation etc. (graduation, b-days) that I haven't had a chance to do some things (like order this book). Wish I had it with me here to read on the beach!

    What a great giveaway, Kris! I read the book in one day! Had it delivered to my kindle and I couldn't put it down...Lucy is a very engaging character and Diana tells a fabulous tale. I say even it you don't win it, get the book an read it. It's a fun one, especially for summer!

    I got my copy from Amazon yesterday and look forward so much to reading it, so please don't enter me! I am so very proud of Diana for completing this as I have dithered and re-edited several books so many times, afraid to submit again after one rejection from agent. That's a huge accomplishment to have actually written and finished this and I'm sure the book will be as charming as Diana is. I hope she's already hard at work on a second one!

    I already purchased her wonderful book, so no need to enter me. :) I agree with everything you said. I just finished it yesterday and LOVED it!!!! It was definitely a page turner. Her writing was so perfect that I felt like I was experiencing everything right beside her. Such a good book! I'm getting ready to email her now to tell her how much I adored it. :)
