All the things are at reduced garage sale prices and her stuff is the best so it is always a good sale to go too.
So Terry and I made a day of it and went to the sale and then to a special place for lunch.
The weather was 80 and sunny and a little breeze was blowing. It was a summer perfect day.
If you would like to follow along and see the pictures I took as I was shopping. They are from my cell so not the greatest quality.
This is Denise's cute farmhouse where she had the sale in her yard. |
Again with the sun and cell phone not the greatest but you can see that there were a lot of chippy's and salvage. |
I loved this three cherub statue lamp. I have never seen one like that. It was gorgeous. |
That Vintage Sign came home with me. It will find a new place in my grey and white bedroom. |
Yep there were some brave men besides Terry that came to the sale. Look at those cool clocks. |
Lot's of fun chalk boards and lots of oh la la french items. |
This lamp I got for my daughter Jen. She has primitive and these colors in her decor. She is excited to get this cute lamp for her family room end table. |
Denise had the prettiest dining room table and chairs for sale. 4 arm chairs and two side arm chairs with burlap seats. Gorgeous. |
This sweet chair went home with me for a friend that saw it on the website and could not get to the sale today. |
That look like one fun place to shop! I wish I knew someone who does that near me.
ReplyDeleteGlad y'all found the lunch sack. It's the little things...right? :)
Kris, your trunk looks like it's filled with white, chippy goodness!! After visiting Denise's shop with you, I'm sure that her sale was amazing! (So jealous-wish I could've gone!) And how sweet that you found something for Abby, too :)

You two are so, so special. Of all the things you bought, at least three were for other people! This kind of sale your friend hosted is really nice, and it's what we Panoply sisters would love to do. Instead, we end up going to our community yard sales, and boy, do those people get good deals. Love your stuff you bought, and the photo with the vintage sign with the sunlight glow is really pretty. So not all cell phone photos are bad - sometimes you can't even tell the difference unless you point it out. Have a great weekend, Kris.
ReplyDeleteps I see you're starting Abby out right with passing on the collecting gene......;)
