Skirting

Good Sunday to all of you.

I wanted to show you how I was able to use more the the ruffle from my table cloth to skirt some more things in my dining room.

This is my potting table and little chippy stool that I got a few weeks ago.

I decided to recycle the ruffle from the old table cloth on to this table.  Then I was looking at the bench and she seemed like she needed some bling too.

So I gave her a little skirt too.

I will have a post up tomorrow on what happened to this little sweet chaise lounge.  It required some sewing on my old  Sears Kenmore sewing machine that I have had for over 30 years!
Have a great rest of the week end.
Thanks always for your visits.
Kris

  16. Just the right softening, adding the fabric here! So pretty, Kris. You know we're all excited to see what you've done with the chaise.

There is an old black wrought iron chaise that has been sitting in our root cellar for a decade. I won't let it go and yet there is no room inside. Maybe I'll talk my husband into dragging it out next summer and see what we can do with it.

  17. Your table and stool look so good in their attire. Can hardly wait to se what you do to that chaise chair. I have been on the hunt for one, just can't seem to find the one I want that isn't a $100.00.
    Have a great week.
