Today I had the Baby Sprinkle for my daughter Jen that is expecting our second grand baby girl at the end of June. Apparently the second shower for someone is called a Sprinkle and not a Shower.
All these new age things I am learning!!
Me and my girls. My daughter Jen that is expecting to the left and my younger daughter Kim to the right. My granddaughter Abby in the middle. |
My daughter Jen and son in law Tim and Abby |
Table set pretty for the shower. |
Party Favors |
Menu for each guest |
Tim as the new dad to be got a "man" diaper bag. |
Abby even got in a gift or two. Abby got a new bitty baby from American Girl. Now she will have a new baby to take care of while mommy is taking care of her new sister. |
It was great to share this day with family and friends. We are excited about our new little granddaughter that will be coming very soon.
Tomorrow Terry and I are loading up the car with paint supplies and lots of Advil to start the painting marathon of the new house! I am excited to get in there and start to get things rolling.
Have a wonderful Week End.
Hugs,
Kris
Am so excited for you all! Don't work yourself too hard. That painting is hard work. I did two rooms and decided to hire out the rest. LOL

Hi Kris
ReplyDeleteI didn't know it was called Sprinkle day either. Sounds so cute. Everything looks so pretty. Your daughter reminds me of me when I was pregnant. I had my first who I called Abigail(Abby) and my second was 6 years later and it was a girl also. So much fun having two girls. I bet you can't wait to meet your new Grand child. Have fun today with the painting****

Love the photo of you and your girls!
You and Terry be careful today...I'm painting a room today, too....so I know what I'm talking about. Lol
Hopefully you aren't as klutzy as I am!
LOL already spilled the paint once on the carpet on the stairs. We are going to be removing that carpet so it is all good!!!! Advil is my new friend along with my diet cokes!!!! Felt good to come home last night and shower and then go to bed. I slept so good. Back to the paint fumes today.
DeleteGood luck with your painting.
Hugs,
Kris
What a precious shower! I love the table and your menu. Beautiful family, Kris. ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great celebration! I love the idea of giving Abby a doll to play with. Now, she doesn't have to feel left out. I think your pregnant daughter looks like your husband and your other daughter looks like you. Have fun painting. It will be so much easier without having to move furniture around etc too. I'm sure you will have it done in no time!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely family!! I love that Abby and dad weren't left out! Enjoy starting the nesting process at your new home - can't wait to see it! Xo

What a lovely party and way to welcome that new baby to your beautiful family. Hope that painting is going well! : )
ReplyDeleteYou have a lovely family! The table setting was gorgeous, and so were the favors! I love making favors since I'm a papercrafter and cardmaker (Stampin' UP! Demonstrator). I also love Abby opening up her bitty baby. My granddaughter lives in Maryland, so I don't get to see her too often. I hope your daughter has an easy delivery! Have a happy day!

ReplyDeleteLove the man/bag...seriously---carrying around a pink giraffe monstrosity---for a guy...would be awful. So cute, glad you had a wonderful day, Sandi
ReplyDeleteHi sweet Kris, It really warms my heart to see the beauty of your blessings. Your family is so beautiful and to have a little one coming into the family is such a great blessing. 5 years ago I lost a little grand daughter at 3 months old. The day after we laid her to rest we had another grand daughter. As my family gathered in the hospital to welcome the new baby girl the emotions were high. Tears of joy and tears of sorrow were shed as we took our turn to hold this little one. I feel my sweet granddaughter that has passed and she brings joy into my life that I would not have had if she had not passed. We were hoping that she and our new little one would grow up to be fast friends but that wasn't the plan. Love that little one with all your heart and might. She will bring great joy into your life. Love you, Jo
ReplyDeleteWhat a fancy sprinkle! I think that it so thoughtful that the soon to be "big sister" got a baby doll to practice on. xoxo Su
ReplyDeleteYour party appeared to be so wonderful....you do always have such creative ideas. Love the man bag too, did he? Good luck painting and hope it goes well!
ReplyDeleteI missed this earlier, Kris. What a wonderful party. You outdid yourself as usual. I am so happy that you are going to have a new baby--and that Abby will have a little one to love on, too. Happy move-in week to your new home, too. xo Diana
ReplyDeleteLoved seeing these beautiful pictures of the family...congrats!....Abby looks so happy too!
ReplyDeleteThe photo of you with your "girls" brought a big smile to my face, Kris. Every one of you is a beauty. It's so cool that Abby received a Bitty Baby. Those dolls remind me so much of the Tiny Tears I had when I was a little girl. You have an awesome family. I'm so happy for all of you. The Sprinkle is such a cute idea and the table decor is beautiful. Charlotte is entering into a happy, loving family. Perfect! Hugs, Nancy
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful daughters you have Kris! I had no idea a second shower was called a Sprinkle either so you are not alone!:) Everything looked amazing.
