I have my Harvest Angel on my front door. |
I have had this angel for many years. Takes me back to my primitive decor days. Always have loved her. |
Old chippy chair dressed up for fall. Just ignore that tag on the mums. I did not notice that until after I posted this picture lol! |
New pretty front door mat. |
I added these wreaths to my two garage door lights. |
I made this wreath for the little window on the side of the garage leading up to the front door. |
I miss my sweet summer flowers but welcome in Fall. I can hardly wait for summer to start again next year to see pretty flowers blooming once again. |
Happy Fall. Have a wonderful week. Kris |

Hi Kris! Super cute decor - hard to say goodbye to the glorious summer days and flowers, but the is wonderful, too. Have a great week! Jane
ReplyDeleteOh i love it all. You always do the best outdoor vignettes.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, as usual! Love the harvest angel. And you just reminded me I want to get a storm door for the back door. Holly would love being able to see out on the patio and watch all the lizards, birds and butterflies. :)
ReplyDeleteSuper duper, Kris. Your porch is very warm and welcoming.
ReplyDeleteWhat is it about Fall that lends itself towards primitives?
Your angel fits perfectly.
Prettiest garden in the neighborhood.
ReplyDeleteI laughed when you said your 'primitive' days. I still have some pieces left too. All over Instagram the theme is 'farmhouse', but if you look, it's shabby chic with a farmhouse sign added. The looks don't change, just the colors and titles.
Awww...very pretty. I'm going to go down and dig for some 'blooms' as everything is getting scraggly and dead looking. Thanks for the inspiration, Sandi
ReplyDeleteSoooooo beautiful!!!! I love your little primitive angel, she is so cute! I used to decorate with primitives too back when it was so popular. I really miss it and have thought about adding some elements back into my home?!?!
ReplyDeleteHappy Fall!!!

I'm sure you've impressed the neighbors! They're thinking: Oh, she's going to make the neighborhood sparkle every season. Love what you did. I sure remember my "primitive decor" days.

Hi,
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!!
Hey, was it hard for you to find white pumpkins this year? Our local pumpkin patch does not have any this year. ;-( I think I am going to try and grow them next year. :-)
Carla
Kris, I love that you put some pops of color with the white this year. I did a bit of that too. Fall is my favorite time of year so I just added a bit to my neutral and whites. Fun!
ReplyDeleteEverything looks festive and fall-ish! I haven't even done my porch yet because the periwinkles are still so wonderful and lush out there. I'm afraid mums would burn up in this heat. I love that old chair that you perched your pretties on.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great week! xoxo, T.
Kris at Halloween I have an appreciation to primitive décor, it just has the perfect fall vibe to feel happy and comfy. I have a few prim pieces that just put a smile on my face. Wow you get very creative with adding silk flowers into your décor insides and out. Nice to see the mixed in Russet tones of Autumn on your porch. Your porch looks fall festive and welcoming and I love your old chippy chair.

Your entryway is so warm and welcoming for fall, Kris.

Everything looks so darling! Your summer flowers are so amazing I can see why you miss them, but your fall decorations are so fun!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty entryway, and I too like some primitive pieces. So savvy to mix in some silk flowers inside and out.
ReplyDeleteLoving your ode to Fall!
Your Summer flowers are stunning-wondering what type of fertilizer you used?
xo
Jemma
Love your primitive angel!! So sweet! And your wreaths are stunning!! Does your neighbors decorate too? Most of mine don't and I swear they think I am crazy!! LOL!!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Deb
Hello dear friend! Well you make for a great welcoming entrance!!!!!!!!! It has taken me a while too to let go of the summer blooms although I still have them OUT! Believe it or not, they have survived and I have not even watered them since SCHOOL STARTED! So much rain. Everything looks magnificent!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful, as usual! I love it all, especially the angel and the wreath you made. One can always find beauty at your house.

Lovely touches. The piece of fence and your choppy chair look wonderful dressed for fall. Beautiful wreaths spread around. Happy Fall
ReplyDeleteCindy
Happy Fall, Kris! Beautiful Fall touches on your porch. Would you believe we already have snow and there is more coming this week! The leaves haven't finished falling yet - so much for Fall 2016!
ReplyDeleteCute. My garden in front does its own fall decor!
ReplyDeleteCheery as ever! Love that big basket arrangement. The russet mums are my favorite (next to white of course!) Everything about this says welcome!
ReplyDeleteFall is looking great on your front porch, Kris. You always do a nice job. Hope no one thinks your sign is for real and takes your pumpkins! lol THAT would be MY luck. That is a great old angel you have had for years. Perfect on your front door. I know you are in a condo unit- can you paint your door any color you want? I think the one you have is perfect for fall!
ReplyDeleteYour summer bloomers were beautiful too. I didn't get to see many summer posts this past year. xo Diana
Kris, your front porch looks so pretty and welcoming too. That angel is really beautiful and reminds me of all my 'primitive' stuff I got rid of which I now wish I had back! No one can deny that you have a way with the summer flowers but your fall is looking great too..Happy Wednesday..Judy
ReplyDeleteKris, your porch looks amazing! All of your touches make it so inviting. :)

ReplyDeleteYour porch is so welcoming, Kris! I love all the colors. They're just perfect for this time of year. :)
ReplyDeleteThe fallness around your pretty place looks beautiful. Like you, summertime is my fav and I am afraid that Fall is not a favorite....spring in West Texas if full of wind and blowing sand so I don't much like it, either...but I love wintertime...fires in the fireplace, warm drinks and soups, sweaters and boots...like it all but driving on ice and snow...so back around to SUMMERTIME...Ha ha
ReplyDeleteHappy Fall Kris! Love your harvest angel!
ReplyDeleteOMG, inlove with your Harvest Angel Kris! But then again, I love your whole front porch too!
ReplyDeleteHi Kris, yes me too I love your harvest angel and the pretty wreaths, and pumpkins! Fall is such a wonderful time of year. I hope you have a wonderful fall weekend.

Beautiful! Love your harvest angel! Enjoy your weekend! Maria
ReplyDeleteLike everyone else, your porch is darling. I have a thing about doormats and love yours. Want to share where you purchased it? Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI am trying to remember where I purchased that. It was either Michaels or Hobby Lobby. I got it last year so I cannot remember where I found it. Try those two places.
DeleteHugs,
Kris
PS I just found this website that has this mat!

ReplyDeleteYour front door area is decorated so pretty! I love the primitive angel on the door. You've done a great job adding Fall touches that lead up to your doorway too. I've been so lazy this year with my Fall decor. I haven't even bought a pumpkin for Halloween yet!
ReplyDeleteYour harvest angel is the cutest! I loved seeing your porch al decked out for summer, too. Your home is so adorable!
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful Kris! You have added such wonderful fall touches.
