Hope your Thanksgiving was full of wonderful time with family and friends.
I have started my Christmas decor and wanted to show you some of my ornaments on my tree for this year.
My Hope sign added into the tree. |
Hope looks so pretty at night with the tree all a glow. |
Along with my angel ornaments I like to add nature to the tree too. |
Pretty chandelier ornaments add some sweet bling to the tree. |
This ornament was gifted to me on a package last year from a dear friend. |
This is just a sampling of all my ornaments I add to my tree each year. They all have such wonderful memories attached to them. |
Are you getting your Christmas decor going? Enjoy this beautiful time of year. May all your lights sparkle and glow when you plug them in!!!!!! Happy Decorating.
Hugs,
Kris

Shabbilicious Friday Christmas
Dear, dear Kris, you have been such a delightful friend all year, and I always look forward to your posts. Your crisp, white cottage and extraordinary finds make me SMILE!
ReplyDeleteAh......I am enjoying decorating for Christmas this year. I am so grateful that no matter how old I get, that so far, every year I get YOUNGER at heart. Things I've seen before have taken on new dimension and meaning, and whenever I pull out an old decoration, it never ceases to make me happy like a child. Your angel is darling, so perfect and your HOPE sign is perfect for you, for us all. You have demonstrated hope in so many ways to me, and your reward has been 100 fold. May the new year bring you even more love.
WHITE DECOR - LIVE ON!
Kris, I came here feeling a bit sober and your angel made me smile. Those ornaments tell stories dont they and those are the best kinds of decorated trees. Its gorgeous. Blessed Holidays to you.
ReplyDeleteSo glad this post brought your spirits up. I love that sweet angel she makes me smile every time I look at her. Hope this will get you in the spirit to get ready for Christmas. Hugs.

Kris, I love all your tree ornaments on your angel / hope tree. Those glass balls with the beads dripping all over the top - crafty idea! And the chandeliers are gorgeous - saw those in TX and wanted a couple, but resisted. All of your angels and hearts really speak to me.
ReplyDeleteI've started decorating, and I'm all over the board, flitting from one room to the next, even one vignette to the next without even finishing, like a kid with an attention disorder. Seriously. Then there are the emails full of sales that distract me.....have a great weekend.
Kris, I loved all the decorations. Having your Hope angel on your tree is wonderful. Blessings for a fun weekend, xoxo, Susie
ReplyDeleteIt is gorgeous. I love the hope sign and your precious angels. The joy star and noel heart are cuties too. I love the glow of a Christmas tree. I did the outside yesterday, so we are good to go.
ReplyDeleteYour tree is gorgeous and I adore Hope. So wonderful to have your grandmother's pin.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, Kris! I love that your angel wears your grandmother's pin...it makes her even more special.
ReplyDeleteYour tree is gorgeous! I hope to get my ornaments on the trees this weekend.
xoxo, T.
So beautiful.. I'll put the tree today.. at least that is my plan..
ReplyDeleteSo many gorgeous ornaments, especially the angel and all of the shabby chic hand made ones. It makes me want to get out my craft supplies and work away making something beautiful. Thank you for the inspiration! ;o)
ReplyDeleteYour ornaments are so beautiful. We put our tree up yesterday.
ReplyDeleteNo, I'm still not there yet. Your ornaments are so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBrenda
All your ornaments are so pretty. However, I am especially inspired by your Angel "HOPE" and hope sign. It is difficult for me to be inspired this year...my dear Mother-in-Love has recently been placed on Hospice. Your inspiration of hope would be a great one for me to feel as if I am contributing to her desire to live till next Christmas...we her children are hoping she will be with us for "this" Christmas. Today is a rainy day...I think I will bring some holiday cheer to our surroundings. Blessings for you and yours dear Kris.
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty ornaments to grace your tree...beautiful, Kris!
ReplyDeleteMary Alice
This is a tree full of beauty...and I love the sentiment and memories with it!

I am calling this your angel tree, you have so many pretty ones!
ReplyDeleteI especially like how you personalized it, Kris, with your grandmother's pin.
I've had a lot of ideas dancing around in my head, but I haven't started any decorating yet.
I am knee deep in Christmas tubs as we speak...Your tree is just stunning. I do traditional decorating with Santas and red and green...hard to break a tradition plus I have ornaments from my mom's tree and she loved Santas and clowns...Merry Christmas, Kris
ReplyDeleteYour tree ornaments are so pretty! I love how elegant they are. I like white, gold, and silver Christmas decorations too. I will be getting started on mine tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty, Kris! I am doing a white, sliver & gray tree this year. I hope it will as pretty as yours.
ReplyDeletewarmly,
deb
Your tree is beautiful with such lovely ornaments....I've almost done with my decorating and am so happy so I can enjoy the season...
ReplyDeleteKris your tree is decorated with attention to detail you lovingly apply throughout your home. Your angels are darling and make me smile - each are unique. Having your Grandmoms angel brooch displayed is very touching and I have a feeling she truly earned her wings. Memories are very powerful, capable of making our soul rejoice, thank you for this heartfelt share.

I love your Hope angel, Kris! She is beautiful. Love that she wears your grandmother's pin too. What a sweet reminder! I've got my decorations up. Kept it simple this year. It still seems unreal that it's the Christmas season. Not sure how we got here already. :-)

The chandelier ornaments are just darling! I am working on Christmas decor since friday, hopefully outside will get done if we can beat the coming rain. Thanks for sharing your lovely white tree with us ☺
ReplyDeleteKris,
ReplyDeleteA very Happy Thanksgiving to you, and this tree, wow! Just speechless. Then it occurred to me how much this tree is you, shabby and beautiful, nostalgia like grandma's brooch, glistens like the Chaney crystals, and a true Angel of Hope. It has been quite the year for you and want you to know what a gift you are to us gals, seriously from my appreciative heart. All too often people live their lives online in such a smoke and mirror show and people see through it...Kris when you guys moved I cried and prayed you would find your way and the shabby blog wouldn't disappear forever, then sweet Cooper, the new place I reared up again as prayers have been answered for our sweet gal. You inspire and are the true MVP on never losing Hope! Well I thought I would tell you this as all our hearts are in such thankful thoughts. Also I can only imagine the time and devotion to keep a blog going there are only a few left sadly. Ok enough of my mushy thoughts and feelings lol have a great Sunday Kris
Oh Rachelle you made my heart sing today with your comment. It has been a really rough year and a half for me and my hubby but the support and friendships especially from peeps like you in blogland have kept me hopeful for better things to come. I really needed this today and your comment was such a gift. Thank you sweet friend. Sometimes when we go through rough times on our life journey we are then opened to the real blessings in life. Even with our struggles we have seen so much blessing in our lives too. I miss my old cottage that I loved but this new one is now feeling like home. It has brought us back closer to our family and friends so that is a true blessing. Cooper has added so much joy and love for us. I think he rescued us more than we rescued him. Cooper in remission of his cancer gives us hope that life even in the sadest and hardest times can bring such beautiful blessings. Thank you for all your mushy thoughts today I hugged and embraced them all. Happy Sunday right back at you. Enjoy the new week as we slide on down to the big day.

Yep I told Terry if he does not find a job soon I may have to put him and his tool belt out on the corner lol! I am sorry about your mom passing last Christmas. It is so hard to lose a loved one and especially hard on the holiday. I am sorry for your loss. Sounds like you have wonderful memories of your mom. Hold dear to those.

Such a beautiful tree. LUV the angel. I have an angel tree, someone admired it and I packed it up and gave them . On it was a white fabric angel pretty similar to yours. I always look forward to seeing your angel on the tree. Front and center. Just noticed the little birds. How darling.
ReplyDeleteHappy week Kris.
Hugs, Gee
