Most Valuable Decor Piece

Happy Sunday

Just wanted to wish all of you a wonderful start to the new week.  With January ending we are getting closer to Spring!  Wooo Hooo!


Do you have a decor piece that is your absolute favorite in your home?  

Well,  I have to tell you I have a Work of Art or I should say a Work of Heart that I cherish.  

Out of all my chippy, beautiful salvage pieces of history I have put into my decor,  this piece wins my heart.




Yep!!!!! This is a picture made for me by my granddaughter Abby.  It is a picture of our whole family.  As Abby presented this to me she said "I made this for you MiMi because I know how much you love our family".  OMG my heart just melted.
Out of the mouths of babes!!!!

Have a great start to the new week and new month ahead.
I promise I will have my bathroom pics up soon.  As soon as I think I am done,  I get another decor crazy idea start in there!

    Kris, My oldest granddaughter drew some pictures that I have framed....she's in her late 20's now. You will treasure Abby's art work for a long time. You know she put her heart into it too.     Abby's picture is priceless.

    Your bathroom turned out beautifully. I totally understand the photo issue after our week with rain. I tried with no success to take a photo of the armoire in our bedroom. The next day with the sun out, it was so easy to snap a pic.

    You are a wizard at finding rusting and chipped bits and turning them to fabulous.

I remember when Jake and I were gardening many years ago, and he was so serious when he asked me how did I know so much about flowers?     Abby's Work of Heart is a gift to cherish! Isn't it sweet that she knows you so well!

    When we moved I finally made up an envelope for each adult child of all the little notes and pictures they gave me when they were little. I could tell that they were glad I had saved them.

    So adorable and she must be thrilled that MiMi loved it so much that she framed and put it on display! I can't wait until my little Westin is old enough to draw pictures. Although he always leaves special chalk lines on our chalkboard wall that I hate to erase.
