ReplyDeleteHappy Valentine's Day!!
ReplyDeleteCan’t wait to see what you are up to! It reminds me of a server I had but I don’t see a split top so I’m guessing at what it’s purpose was! Wishing you a Happy Valentine’s Day- love the flowers from Terry. 💐
ReplyDeleteKris, Your Terry is a real sweetheart. It makes me smile to read that he remembers your favorite flowers. Such a pretty bouquet too. I will admit as soon as I saw that "brown " piece of furniture I laughed, thinking oh Kris has a new project. You crack me up girl. But then hey, I can not wait to see what it becomes. LOL. Blessings for a happy Valentine's day. xoxo, Susie

ReplyDeleteWhat an interesting piece. Cannot wait to see it transformed . And the bouquet Terry bought you is beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteI should have mentioned that I do think I know what it is as we have a piece with a similar purpose I am waiting to bring home from my MIL's home.
DeleteHope you were able to stop at some of the cute shops along the way to Fond do Lac!My daughter did her undergrad in Oshkosh and I sure miss all the great shopping up there and along the way. Looking forward to the big reveal. Jane
ReplyDeleteLet me add how much I adore the arched doors on your new cabinet!

ReplyDeleteKris, what beautiful flowers and I love that piece. Can't wait to see what?? Glad to see that Peggy is paws on!..Happy Valentine's Day my sweet friend..xxoJudy
ReplyDeleteI believe your mid-century piece of furniture might have housed a console television or stereo but I might be wrong. I did see a clue where it said "Warwick Electronics" on the side manufactures sticker.
ReplyDeleteCant wait to see how you re-purpose and transform this piece. I have seen many of the vintage console stereos and televisions made into bars.
Good guess Teresa but nope not an old TV or Stereo. I hope to have the piece finished up this weekend to reveal.
DeleteI think you will be surprised to see what it is.
xoox
Kris

I already love the look of the piece with it's arched panels. I can almost see how it might look after this weekend, but I know it will be so much 'more' than I can imagine. Enjoy the process and I look forward to the reveal.
ReplyDeleteI miss my Mark, who could do things, I was his helper. I do the best I can and ask God for strength and energy to do what I can. You and Terry inspire me and remind me of what I had. Lots of good memories and projects surround me here.
Love & hugs ~ FlowerLady
Libby says, 'tell 'em, mom!" lol. You've stumped me.....
ReplyDeleteTerry is true sweetheart, beautiful bouquet.
That is a very pretty cabinet as it is but I know it will be spectacular when you are finished with it! I haven't been in Fond du Lac in years...always thought it was a pretty town. Our neighbors are moving into your neck of the woods, I think around Schaumburg. Gorgeous, gorgeous flowers with a special meaning just for you. Not only is your hubs a very talented craftsman, he is a romantic. xoxo
ReplyDeleteTerry picked a beutiful bouquet for you, Kris. Enjoy the lovely flowers! Miss Peggy looks curious indeed and I also look forward to seeing what you two are going to do with this piece of furniture. I'm sure it will be awsome.

I'm going to guess that it was a record player of some kind...can't wait to see the transformation. And may I just say your design assistant is the cutest?
ReplyDeleteNice flowers! My man took me to a cooking class I was wanting to go to. It was so much fun!
hugs,
Cecilia
Too bad I never found a "Terry!" He's a winner. Gorgeous flowers. I'm happy to see Peggy looks right at home, even on your pretty white furniture. I always think of pets as family members, which means they sit on furniture!
ReplyDeleteBrenda
Hi Kris, I love the pretty flowers. I can't wait to see how your furniture turns out.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice weekend.
Julie xo
Kris, you have me intrigued. I looked the company up and the only information I get is a rolling buffet with storage for chairs. I know you and Terry will make this a beauty
ReplyDeleteCindy
I have no idea what this is, Kris. But I know it will be amazing when you're finished!
ReplyDeleteI miss receiving flowers from my husband. He would bring me small bouquets each week that he picked up at the store and then a big lovely one each month. I miss him and his love.
ReplyDeleteWaiting!! Some beautiful piece is coming up, I'm sure about that.. I'm excited..
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful piece of furniture! Of course, we all can't wait to see how it is transformed. That bouquet of flowers from your hubby is gorgeous. He did good!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great find! I know you will make it over beautifully. I did look it up, so I am pretty sure I know what is is...LOL It will make a great addition to your lovely home Kris. Have a fabulous weekend. xo

ReplyDeleteI thought that maybe it is a place where people kept there linens or a bar. Can't wait to see that you guys do to it, I am sure it will be beautiful.
