Some of you asked me to take a pictures of the Expand O Matic table in action!
|
Here is the Expand O Matic table closed and in it's cabinet |
|
Easy Peasy to open up and pull out. Then just add the leaves that hook together. |
|
I needed seating for 8. |
|
I added my new table cloth I got from Home Goods. |
|
I love the soft bunny colors of this table cloth. It match so well with my soft pinks and creams in my centerpiece. |
|
Little Peggy was trying to nap on her chair. She was a little upset with me that I was waking her up by setting the table and taking pics as you can see by the look on her face!!!! |

We are a no fuss group. We gather to eat, drink and celebrate our blessings on Easter. Then we do an Easter Egg hunt. This year with the weather here in Illinois being so "un spring like" will be doing the egg hunt in the downstairs family room.
My pictures are very cloudy and gloomy like our weather. It would have been so much better if some sunshine would have come out. Just take my word for it the table is looking very pretty.
Wishing all of you a wonderful Easter as you gather with family and friends tomorrow. xoxo Kris |
Kris, I love this table !!! You did a fabulous job on the tables setting. I love how the ribbon in the centerpiece seems to just go with the plaid of your curtains. It just looks wonderful and ready for a fun family gathering. I like the idea of an egg hunt in your family room....no sense letting kids out in the cold and mud. :) Blessings to all of you. xoxo, love, Susie
ReplyDeletep.s. I am enjoying the book and I showed it to my SIL , who was very impressed. :)

ReplyDeleteWishing you and your family a very Blesses Easter and Miss Peggy too. Love that table.

My mom's best friend had a similar table when I was growing up. I thought it was pure genius then and I think yours is pure genius now. Her husband also attached a small table top to the wall in their kitchen which had two legs you could pull down out of the frame so they could have a tiny table in the kitchen but pull up and out of the way after a meal. If I remember right she had some sort of art, a framed picture or something inside that frame so that it looked like a picture on the wall most of the time! People are so innovative when space is at a premium.... I love your sweet home!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool table! Love it opened -- and closed! I'm sure you'll be having a wonderful time with family. Happy Easter, He is risen! xo Kathleen
ReplyDeleteFantastic table:-)))))

Good morning and HAPPY EASTER dearest Kris! That Expand-o-matic table is exactly what you need to present a lovely sit-down meal and then get back to a cozy, airy space for your cottage living. YOU SCORED! Talk about the weather, huh? We woke up yesterday to at least 6 inches of snow and the Easter Bunny came early; a rabbit came out of hiding and was sitting there on a HUGE mound of snow, looking like the queen of the hill and as if she was saying, "What in thee Sam Hill?" But this morning, the snow is melted and it's April and it has to get better, right?
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the day and all the blessings of the hope of spring AND eternal love.
That table is so terrific, Kris. I love your tablecloth and centerpiece, and I can bet the grand girls will get a kick out of the bunnies hopping all across the table. Enjoy your Easter with family. We have rain and cold, damp temperatures again today. Yo-yo weather.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter to you and your family Kris! LOVE LOVE this table. How unique. Your tablesetting is beautiful. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteI don't recall seeing the downstairs after you moved in. Maybe I just missed it. That table is such an incredible concept!
ReplyDeleteBrenda
so brilliant, and it's adorable too. I love your new tablecloth (oh those rabbits) and how you set such a beautiful table. I hope you have a wonderful day!
ReplyDeleteI am loving every single thing about this tablescape!!! Happy Easter Kris
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing this Kris! It's just darling.. love the new tablecloth with the bunnies.. and your centerpiece, and the plates and little dishes of jelly beans! That table is so perfect for your space.. how fun! And as one other gal said, I bet it does your heart good to have this special holiday in your new home. Have a wonderful day! Hugs.. Marilyn P.S. Peggy looks so darling sitting on that chair...
ReplyDeleteI love the table and how you have an arrangement against the window end. Happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteThat is just the best table for a smaller home. I've been on the hunt for one since you showed us yours. You decorated it so pretty for Easter. We are a no fuss group too so I appreciate the simplicity of your pretty Easter table. Hope you had a lovely Easter and here's to creating new memories around the table in Cottage III :)
ReplyDeleteThat is great! So perfect for a small house. And I adore your tablecloth! It does go well with your decor. Everyone was out along the roads taking their annual bluebonnet pictures. Bruce and I were shaking our heads at those right on the side of the highways taking pictures with their kids. I would have driven just a tiny bit and found a spot away from the road. We had perfect weather but no littles to do an Easter egg hunt for.
ReplyDeleteI love that table and I'm so glad you took pics for us to see it in action. It's such a perfect solution and space saver. Love the new tablecloth too. Bunnies always make me smile. Hope you have a great week!
ReplyDeletePeggy does look like you're interrupting her nap time. We had sun yesterday and 4 inches of snow today. Spring please show yourself.
ReplyDeleteCindy
Love the table, Kris! Hope it was a wonderful day with your family. Happy Easter!!
ReplyDeleteWonderful layout in your bitty cottage. Love how families adapt. Here's hoping you had a Happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteI love your wonderful table...and you decorated it beautifully!
ReplyDeleteThat table is much larger than I could’ve imagined! You were so smart choosing that for your home. The bunny print tablecloth is adorable. We had nice weather over in PA where we were for Easter but came home to the cruddy weather like yours. I know the weather will get better soon but the waiting is tough!
ReplyDeleteLove your tablescape... Happy Easter Dear.. it's so beautiful so much and good idea on site.
