Hope your weekend is going great.
I was minding my own business in the Home Goods the other day. Just taking long romantic walks up and down the aisles when this rack caught my attention.

| Yep! I stopped in my tracks for this sweet numbered wire rack. I had a good idea of what I wanted to do with this. First though it needed some white paint lol! |

| So this rack got a nice coat of white paint and then I moved it into my office area. |
 |
| Now I have a storage place for all my magazines and catalogs. |
 |
| Sometimes those nice romantic strolls down the aisles of Home Goods pay off!!! Have a great start to the new week. My living room project is coming out of my head and into my decor! I just have to wait on some slipcovers being made for me and then I will have the reveal for you. Hugs, Kris |

ReplyDeleteIs Lisa making your new slip covers? If so, do you use her packet for correct sizing, or just sending her photos and measurements?
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Mary. I am using Lisa for the slips. This time I actually am sending her the cover that came on the Ikea chair and just having her add a ruffle on the bottom of the slipcover like she did the other two chairs I have in the room already. So I did not have to send her any measurements etc. just the slipcover to add a ruffle on the bottom. Normally if she is doing a completely new slipcover for me I send her pictures and measurements and she makes them for me like that. I think she likes people to use the packet information so she can get the measurements exactly correct. Are you thinking of having another slipcover made??? Lisa does great work but is very busy now so I have to be patient and wait on my ruffles to be added. Patience is not my strong suit lol!
DeleteKris, that's cute AND functional. I love vertical use of space. I think I spotted a similar one in Sam's Club. Not as romantic a stroll, being in a warehouse with the hoosband. :)

ReplyDeleteI need a trip to Home Goods. The one thing I say is, you have to carefully stroll and look carefully. Items just pop out and have to come home. Your office space is very charming.

ReplyDeleteOOOHHH that is just so perfect! I love things that are vertical for storage, or on walls. I found some sort of things to put on my walls that you can hang things on (at a garage sale for a couple of dollars) and there were already white! And now can hang all sorts of little bags of stuff, bows, flowers, ribbon, my gift bags, etc. and love that I can use my wall for storage!
