| I had the old chippy porch column in the corner of the living room and it felt so lonely. So the other day I found this chippy white birdhouse and beautiful angel wings to add to this space. |

Some New Information and hopefully a little help to share!
I want to share something that I have learned about the " Not getting comments from out blog posts into our emails" !!!!!
Apparently the powers that be are still working on the problem!!!!!
Ok while we wait to see if this will ever get fixed.
I was told that when you finish writing your blog post you can check Notify Me at the bottom of your post page and then each person that comments on your post will go into your email.
Sounds great right?!!! Well it is except for the fact that when the comments come into your email they all come in as no reply bloggers.
Again no worries!!! If you have peeps emails saved in your address book you can just add the address to your reply. So this is a almost good fix until they get the whole thing working right again.
Hope this helps any of you that are frustrated with not getting comments sent into your email.

Kris, I love the addition of the bird house. It does fill in the corner nicely, besides it is just plain cute! I also love the poem. So perfect, especially for you and Terry and your sweet little cottage. Thanks for the info on comments, but I'm kind of liking answering this way for me, but hopefully everyone is coming back to see even though I know it is a pain. ReplyDeleteI am responding to each comment on my blog but must confess that I just don't have time to go back and find all the emails. I'm not good about keeping them in an organized manner. It's a frustrating problem, for sure!

ReplyDeleteI wonder if I have a prob with Blogger. First, I've never gotten comments by email. I didn't know Blogger had that option. Secondly, whenever I used the Notify Me option, I got EVERY comment from everyone on that blogger's post!! My specific problem is I don't think all of the comments on my blog posts are being published. Maybe I'm not humble enough, but I've gotten almost half the comments and page views on my last post than I've ever gotten. Who knows, maybe no one has visited! lol!

Good morning Kris! First of all, your sitting room looks amazing. You have perfectly found the right mix and amount of furniture necessary to make that space cozy but still roomy. Love those wings! And, I hope that the angel I sent you will find the right finish to complete her charm for you! I don't blog as often as I used to, so I haven't noticed any unusual comment problems; I just figure I fell off the map, so my former followers simply don't think I exist anymore!!!!!!!

ReplyDeleteLOL Valerie. I get it. When my two daughters were little and I had lots of pets we did not have a stitch of white anywhere. This is my retirement dream home. Downstairs in our family room is all grays, reds and natural wood in the Fireman Cave Family room. That is where we really live lol! Have a great new week.

ReplyDeleteEverything so pretty as usual! The birdhouse is darling and that corner is so sweet with the angel wings and the poem. My house is too "LIVED IN" to show the room son my blog! ha..... I tried doing a sample post on my blog to see where the notify me checkbox was, but didn't see one anywhere! I have Blogger but sure didn't see anything to check. I do put "notify me' when I comment on someone's blog and figure that helps them have my email address. It's all Greek to me! Have a nice week! I missed this post over a week ago.. somehow went into my spam folder. Drat! Marilyn
