| Thank you all for all your sweet comments and prayers for my mom. She is doing better each day after hip replacement surgery. My mom could barely walk with her bad hip. Now with the new replacement she should have a better quality of life. |

ReplyDeleteMy best friend went through hip replacement and is doing wonderful! Such a huge difference in her quality of life!! the main key to the hip journey is the physical therapy. Follow the plan and your golden.

I'm so glad your mother is doing better each day, Kris. To be able to walk without a lot of pain will be such an improvement. You tense up all over when in pain. I'll continue to pray for your mom and for you!

ReplyDeleteOMgoodness. I went through that with my bionic father who had both hips on both knees done at one time or another. And yes, pain free walking is great and he lived into his 90's trying to stay functional. Kudos to your mom, for braving it. Having your help must be wonderful. Loving your postings again! Sandi

So glad she's doing well! Gives me hope--they tell me I have arthritis in my hip. Can you imagine? Me? lol It hurts like the devil I can tell you. I opted for PT instead of steroid shots but now I'm thinking it's time for the shot(s). And ultimately surgery, I know. Kind of grim but I know in the end that modern medicine can work miracles!!!! xo Kathleen

I am so thankful she is able to be at home, it does make a difference to them feeling they have some independence, I know from having conversation with my Meals on Wheels folks. It means so much for them to be at home.
