Hello Everyone.
Hope you are enjoying baking, gift buying, wrapping and decorating for the big day.
This time of year goes so quickly.
I have the outside of the house done up for Christmas. I wish I would have taken pics last week when we got 10 inches of snow. It looked so pretty with the snow covering and the lights at night.
So ignore all the dead leaves and things that were under the snow in the garden.

Front of the house with decor. It was so much prettier with snow covering the ground. Even though we hate getting snow it does make every thing look prettier in the garden areas. Otherwise things are just dirty and dead looking. I miss seeing all my pretty summer flowers. |

Ahhhh Memories! |

My spindle tree sits on an old chippy bench with an old suitcase above that and my old clock. |

I added my old clock to give some height to the tree. |

Each window out front got a pretty wreath and flower boxes got a nice set of greens, pinecones and automatic candles that flicker at night. |

This is my cherub bird feeder that is in the garden. I noticed something interesting after taking these pictures. Look at the Cherub's face in this daytime picture and then go down to the next picture and looks at his expression on the night time picture. |
|
I will let you draw your on conclusion on his changing expressions!!!!! |
I will end on that note. As you go about your day today have a great one. I will have more inside decor pictures soon.
Hugs,
Kris
So pretty Kris! May you get a dusting of snow to make it complete and then the snow stops. :D xoxox
ReplyDeleteOh Kris,
ReplyDeleteit looks magical Hun!
Hugs,
Karen B.
I just love it! You've just given me a great idea for my window box. I have an old metal candle holder that I'm going to try to put in my flower box. Oddly enough I had it in my hands last night thinking it was about time to donate it (back) to GW! What a great idea! The cherub's changing expressing is interesting! His expression is saying "what's up with these freezing temperatures so early?"
ReplyDeleteLove it all! Especially the bike!
ReplyDeleteKris, everything looks so pretty, even with the dirt and dead leaves...LOL White lights add such romance to everything and it does look so pretty! I bet it was beautiful with the snow! Love your spindle tree and window boxes! Your hosta was gorgeous also...what was that growing behind it? Hosta is hard for me to grow in this part of Texas...even in the shade it is blazing hot and hosta loves coolness and shade...just like me! :-) Love and hugs sweet friend!
ReplyDeleteIt is beautiful, Kris, and I was lucky enough to see it in person. The nighttime picture does NOT do it justice! Loving the bike and I didn't notice that when I was there.
ReplyDeleteThe angel thing is kind of 'spooky'...lol The lights must cast it into completely different relief so the whole expression changes! (cue Twilight Zone music here).
Have a great day, Kris. xo Diana
So beautiful!!!! I imagine it looked just like a magical wonderland when you had all the snow. I love the angel wings....so pretty!

It all looks beautiful! I bet your neighbors are so grateful for you and Terry. You always decorate so beautifully and I bet they love getting to see it lit up every night. Can't wait for more pics!
ReplyDeleteLovely Kris!! Happy Holidays!
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Edie Marie
So pretty! So magical! I just LOVE this time of year.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty, Kris!! You are always so creative, I love that you put lights on the bike and in the bird feeder!
ReplyDeleteI love the bike lit up she's a beauty. I ignore all the beds in photos this time of year.
ReplyDeleteI have to agree with Diana, slightly creepy with the cherub looking as if it changes expression with the light.
Your spindle tree is adorable.
Enjoy
Cindy
Simply awesome!
ReplyDeleteEverything looks beautiful! I love the little greenhouse made from windows. So magical.
ReplyDeleteYour outside decorations are pretty Kris. Yes, everything does look better with snow on the ground! I never leave my vintage bike out front because I worry someone will take it! The first decorations I did was outside but moving slow inside. What's up with that cherub?
ReplyDeleteEverything looks beautiful Kris, that bicycle!!! You always outdo yourself, thanks for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteGood morning beloved Kris! The house looks WoNDerFul!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love what you did to the birdhouse as well; I think I'll stick a little cedar wreath on mine! Oh how I can't wait for that holiday week to arrive! LOVE YA!
ReplyDeleteWow,lights make all the difference in the world when it's so dark and gloomy outside. Pretty!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty decorations! Looks so festive and welcoming at night! I think the cherub is complaining that it's cold at night and that the little lights don't give off enough heat! Lol! Maybe he's needs a parka or a hat and scarf! Wouldn't that be cute?😁
ReplyDeleteHow pretty and festive! Bet your neighbors love to look at it.

Great job with decorating, Kris! I agree that our landscape right now looks prettier with snow. With the landscape looking so dull and bare, we need something to liven it up!
ReplyDeleteSo cute! A welcoming area.
ReplyDeleteHi Kris, oh your outside of the house looks so pretty decorated and lit up at night with the white lights. The angel is kind of strange and looks like it likes it all lit up at night better! LOL.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice week and weekend.
Julie xo
Everything is so pretty; beautiful photo at night all lit up. I love the little white tree on the porch!
ReplyDeleteEven without snow, it all looks so pretty! As we never have snow covering the leaves, it's what I'm used to seeing, lol. As for your cherub, he looks pouty in the daytime (where are the summer's flowers?), but at night, he looks like he loves all the twinkle lights! I need to paint my bicycle still - love how yours looks all decked out in lights!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty, Kris! Love that you filled your flower boxes with automatic flickering flameless candles.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. I really like your idea with the flickering candles.
ReplyDeleteIt all looks so pretty! I can imagine it under the snow but I don't think I want 10 inches anyway! I haven't done a thing to decorate, maybe this weekend! It's all coming too fast for me. How long will those flickering elec. candles last? That's a good idea to have them outside. Didn't think of that. Love the bicycle all decorated and lit up!
ReplyDeleteKris, you home looks just beautiful. I have finally gotten around to seeing what everyone else is up to. The white lights look so pretty and I bet it was gorgeous when it snowed. It is cold enough here but no snow as yet. I think I am done, but still don't have a pretty on the front door..xxoJudy
ReplyDeleteEverything looks so fairy!!! The bike is absolutely fantastic
ReplyDeleteHugs
It all looks so beautiful, Kris!! You have a way of making everything look festive no matter the season....flowers or not! And that bike is fabulous!! xoxo
ReplyDeleteSo you did have lots of snow, but it's gone by now? We haven't had even a dusting here in Nashville yet although my cousins to the east in the Carolinas have loads. I'm so jealous but maybe it will come later in time for Christmas. The front of your house is gorgeous at night with the white lights! Magical! And that wooden tree on the front porch is gorgeous! I must show that to RH. We need to do something about our front porch for next year but there's not a single electrical outlet there. I do have a fresh tree on my kitchen porch and love keeping the door open to the glass door when I'm working in the kitchen so I can see the white lights on the porch railing and pink and purple lights on the cut tree we put there. Now if I can only work on prettying up the front porch after seeing yours. As I've told you before, I always am inspired when I visit here!
ReplyDeleteLove it all Kris!...the bike looks amazing embellished with the lights! The angel wings are so beautiful on the front door...a very special welcome for family and friends!...Your cottage is truly wonderful and festive that has the "Kris" touch of beauty and grace! Have a Merry week Kris!
ReplyDeleteYou have such a lovely home Kris, both inside and out. Love your decorating style
