Here are the new leather recliners I found for my living room.
It is really hard to find recliners that look good in a cottage decor setting!
Happy I found these.
Now I have my corner bay window open back up and two new chairs for seating.

| I sold my one slipcovered loveseat and these two recliners sit in their place. |

| It really opens up the corner window nicely. |

| We have his and hers recliners. Buddy as you can see loves the RA Couture loveseat to himself! That corner on the right needs something on that wall or directly in the corner. I am on the search for what might look good there. |

Those chairs look great and I love the light brown color of them. Buddy looks so cute and comfy on the couch. I use a sheet for my couch and Bosco will sit in the evenings for a little bit with me too! Happy Friday and weekend.

Kris, you always seem to know just what a room needs! These leather chairs are absolutely perfect in your room. I love the color balance of the brown leather with the white couch. Personally, I don't think that corner needs anything. There's already enough going on with decor on the two walls. The corner is a nice resting spot for the eyes. I know everyone is different though and likes different things, so there's that. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI like your new recliners. I am sure they are super comfy. I am on a search for a recliner also that is more feminine looking. I am not a huge fan of leather for my own home, but I love your choice in your space.

Kris, those recliners are crazy good! It is so hard to find leather pieces that have the cottage style look and you nailed it...no pun intended!! They're super comfortable, too. I bet it won't be long before Buddy makes a move and claims one for himself!! xo
ReplyDeleteI'm loving your look of the blues with the flowers and checks... and of course those recliners are just perfect with the light color. The entire room is so welcoming and love the blue throw on the couch.. with the addition of Buddy too! What a nice serene home.. I think blues and whites are so calming. We have too many chairs in our house! My husband has a "chair thing" and when he goes to thrift stores, he used to come home with a new/old chair quite often. I had to put a nix on that unless he can get rid of at least one that he already has. They fill our house to the brim which I hate, as there is no open space or wall or window space now! I just tell myself I'm glad he isn't into buying NEW ones! Keep up the wonderful additions to your home! Love them... xoxoxo Marilyn

Oh those chairs look great and I know the reputation BarcaLounger has as I had a couple a while back. You know if I put anything in that blank corner I’d find something that ties in the color in the loungers with perhaps some blue and white!
