Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving.
We had our official Thanksgiving yesterday on Black Friday.
With Nurses and Firefighters in this family we have to be flexible on our holidays.
We had a great time and ate too much!!!!
Today is Small Business Saturday.
I hope as you start to buy those wonderful Christmas gifts you will think about doing this through your local shops and on line places like Etsy, Ebay and direct sites.
I love to give unique and personal gifts so small business shops seems to help me with this.
Have you started your decorating for Christmas?
I know a lot of you wait until after Thanksgiving to get this done.
I start mine early with my daughter hosting Thanksgiving.
This year especially with Thanksgiving falling late
Christmas will be here quickly.
Sneak Peak at my upcoming Christmas Decor post for 2019
My fireplace insert is dressed with some sparkle greens and pretty white flowers. |
Your fireplace insert looks wonderful. At night the candles look pretty lit.
ReplyDeleteI purchased items from Etsy and Ebay already.
Enjoy your Christmas decorating.
Cindy
I love your white fireplace - it is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteLove your fireplace, it looks amazing.
ReplyDeleteYour fireplace looks wonderful, Kris! I can't wait to see how you decorated the rest of JCC4. Happy Thanksgiving weekend. Last night we went to a local family owned retailer to "browse" their Christmas decor and walked away having spent a small fortune. LOL A portion of some of those purchases were being donated to a good cause so I feel like it was a win win.
ReplyDeleteLove the idea of candles in the stove grate! You're so clever, Kris!

Can't wait to see more, Kris. I always LOVE your home at Christmas and have been oh-so-lucky to see it in person myself. Hope you have a wonderful weekend. xo Diana
ReplyDeleteIt's so beautiful, Kris!I love the way you decorate. I pulled out the bins on Wednesday night and decorated Thursday morning - in between baking pies - and finished up yesterday. Ok...I mostly finished up yesterday. I had to pick up a few cuties yesterday. I have no willpower at all! I can't wait to see the rest of your pretty place. xxoo Enjoy the rest of the weekend!
ReplyDeleteYour fireplace looks beautiful as usual. We had a quite thanksgiving. I always love to give some handmade gifts to friends and families. :)
ReplyDeleteGood morning my friend! Your fireplace is PERFECTION.I have the same thing happening in my fireplace, with sparkling candles and tapers sit atop my mantle. I sat there last night just enjoying every moment of it. I want to see MORE of your house!
ReplyDeleteHi Kris - I'm glad that your Thanksgiving festivities went well. I love what you have done with your cute fireplace and look forward to seeing more of your decorations. Hugs, Gilly
ReplyDeleteHow pretty, Kris! We learned a long time ago...to be flexible with holiday gatherings. Getting together, whenever, is what's important!
ReplyDeleteYour fireplace looks so pretty!
ReplyDeleteHi Kris! Looks so pretty at your house...can't wait to see more.
ReplyDeleteYou pulled a good one when you found that fireplace. It looks so cute. I have just started pulling things out and REPEATEDLY moving them from spot to spot as I figure out my newish apartment. I'm not going to do too much this year but will hit the after Christmas sales for anything I find I am missing. It is really hard to decorate when you have no storage space. I'm looking into building shelves up high in my closet where there is all that space.
ReplyDeleteYour Christmas décor is always wonderful Kris! Glad you had a nice Thanksgiving. We went to our oldest daughters home. Everything was delicious!!
ReplyDeletehugs,
Jann

ReplyDeleteFireplace looks so inviting......I'm with you on the idea of supporting small businesses!
ReplyDeleteLovely!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the shout out for Small Business Saturday Kris, I do the same. I purchase many items off Etsy and our local shops.
ReplyDeleteI am so excited to see your cottage all decked out for the holidays.
Love, Carla
