Front Door Christmas Tree

Happy Sunday Sweet Friends.

I wanted to show you a pretty Christmas tree I bought recently from a local artist.

She takes vintage pieces and ornaments and vintage frames and makes these beautiful pieces.

Here is the one I bought from her for my front door.

This had a very dark frame and I white washed it to have it be seen easier from the front of the house.
I love all the glass ornaments and vintage pieces she uses to make her framed trees.

Of course it is over cast and no sunshine to try and get a good picture.  Plus the shadows were giving me grief!

Trust me this looks really pretty on my front door.
I will have my outside decor to show you this week.

Have a great Sunday and beautiful start to the new week.
Hugs,
Kris

  7. Wow that’s quite a piece! How did you get it to fit in between your storm door! I always have trouble with what I put on my door because of the storm door. Anyway, it’s a lovely piece!

  8. Pretty! I would love to gravitate toward those colors, but just can't make myself purge the memories of all my traditional reds and greens!

  13. I love it,Kris. Will the glass bulbs stand up to the outside temps there? I am always a bit afraid to put them out here--but we are colder than you are, too. That is such a sweet piece. She is really talented! xo Diana

  30. Love it! I am a hoarder of frames and have several syrco type vintage pieces as well as some recently acquired vintage ornaments (I didn't need any more for my tree, but a dear friend was selling them as they have moved to Hawaii and I just had to have something of her to keep). I have been looking for inspiration for something to do with my friends ornaments...I think I have now found it. I noticed this on your front door with your exterior décor post immediately and thought "wow, what is that?"
Ok friend, now to visit the rest of your posts I have yet to see. I have not been spending a lot of time on the internet, and decided to stop by here before checking my emails. Lol... love my visits to your page.
