This is so moving and I urge all of you to watch this video. It is not long and it is so amazing and heart wrenching and heart warming all at the same time.
With Terry being a firefighter all his life I know all too well the high risk of cancer with firefighters with all they are exposed to in their careers.
I bought this from William Sonoma and they were giving the proceeds to the 911 charities. It is a great cutting board and it slides right into the drawer when not in use.
If you need a nice cutting board I highly recommend this one. I love that it gives back to the 911 charities.
These kids are so amazing especially with losing both parents in such a short span. Gives us all hope in the kids of tomorrow. To be able to rise above such loss and honor their parents is so touching.
Have a great new week.
Kris, This was beautiful and heartbreaking. Good for the shark tank. In case I have never mentioned it, please thank Terry for all his caring work for the public. Bless you both, xoxo, love, Susie

Next time I need a cutting board (just bought two new ones!), I will definitely be looking into this one. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI actually watched that very episode on Shark Tank. The cutting board is a really good one that he designed!
ReplyDeleteI love using cutting boards and this looks really useful as well as helping others. Thank you for talking about it here, Kris!
ReplyDeleteThank you, thank you for sharing this story! It was tough to watch but what brave kids. They have such strength and courage.
ReplyDeleteI'm buying this not because I feel sorry for them. I'm buying because I I admire them and to honor every firefighter in the Country.
Police and firefighters sacrifice so much for everyone, every day of their lives. Every person should respect them for their selflessness.
Thank you to all of them.
Hugs,
Cindy
Made me tear up...
ReplyDeleteI'm going to order one for hubby for his b'day.
Thank you so much for posting this, Kris ~

ReplyDeleteLove. It's a gift that is just sometimes to hard to bear.
ReplyDeleteHoly cow, Kris. What a way to start my Monday. Thanks for sharing. I'm sharing too! I can see some gifts in my future with this Cup Board Pro.
ReplyDeletePlease thank Terry for me for what he does. My Sunday school supports our local firegifhters/EMS and it's such a small blessing that we share with them I am sure but I always feel that I get the bigger blessing. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeleteThe product looks very good,
ReplyDeleteSuch strong, loving children.
I wish them the best of luck⭐️
Hugs, Ida
First many thanks to Terry for putting his life on the line fighting fires. I did watch the original episode of Shark Tank when they presented the cutting board. Great idea. The kids are so courageous as they continue to honor their parents and their dad’s vision. Good luck to them. Xo
ReplyDeleteNext time on the cutting boards for me too. I have cutting boards running out of my ears.
ReplyDeleteBre da
That would be Brenda instead of Bre da. With WP you can go back and edit your reply. I see with Blogger you cannot.

Here is another perfect example of you being an angel! I lost both parents within three years of each other and at that time I was 39. To this day I am still hurting and that was twenty years ago! These children are amazing! To be able to do all this within three months of their Father passing is amazing!
ReplyDeleteI'll be ordering these for myself as well as Christmas next year!
Blessings
I am amazed at how these kids could rise above the tragedy of losing both parents and to be able to carry on and honor their dad. I love my cutting board. Have a great week.

Wow Kris... I had just TEN MINUTES AGO watched this video! Then I came to check my emails and current blog posts! Those kids just amaze me.. and I was so touched to see all five sharks pitch in and then give their profits to charity. See? those "sharks" aren't all bad! My hubby thinks they are, but I see tenderness in each one of them, and compassion. That is so sad that those 911 firefighters are being sick and dieing from being there to help. I cherish and thank all firefighters and EMS people so so much. The cutting board is ingenious and I am saving this to my gift list. Add another thank you to Terry from me! Marilyn
ReplyDeleteOh yes I saw this one - so moving ♥
