Hello Sweet Friends.
Yesterday I went to a great Home Goods and literally lost my mind. OMG the store was full of so many fun things. I could not believe all the cute Easter things coming into the store. It was fun to stroll every aisle. Here is the great find that fell into my cart!
|
Found these cute blue and white check chair pads for my dining room chairs. I could not believe the price. $9.99 for a set of 2. SCORE! |
|
They are blue and white ticking on the opposite side. |
|
They match so great with my drapes. I am excited I could add some more blue into the room to go with my whites. |
|
I have to share this candle with you. I got this as a gift from Diana's daughters at my girlfriend party. It smells amazing when you burn it. I have had the candle burning and blew it out and left the house. When I have come back and walk back into the house it smells like the candle is still burning. I quickly burned this candle down using it every day. I asked the girls where they got this candle because I needed more! |
|
They got it at Target. I checked out my Target and was able to get two more. I am telling you sweet friends this particular scent is amazing! |
|
It is so pretty when it burns. The candle container is almost like a foil leaf design. Just so pretty. If you want a really nice smelling candle this one is a winner. |
|
This is a new project Terry and I are working on. This refrigerator is going to get a makeover. It just is sitting in the room with nothing around it. It needs to feel more like a built in and I hate the stainless steel. Hope to have this project done soon to share.
Have a great rest of this week and wonderful weekend. |
Kris, I am swooning over the chair pads. Being reversible is over the top incredible! You certainly did score.
ReplyDeleteI want to try and get there very soon.
Looking forward to seeing what you come up with for the fridge. I know it will be fabulous.
Cindy
I haven't been to Home Goods in ages!!! I might have to make a little trip there now.The chair cushions look great with your table and chairs. I love candles so I am off to order one of those now.

I love your new blue and white chair covers and the candle sounds so nice too. I can't wait to see what you do in the kitchen Kris. Enjoy the weekend.
ReplyDeleteLove the chair cushions! I am not a fan of scented candles....they give me a headache.
ReplyDeleteWell how cute are those chair pads and two sided at a great price!
ReplyDeletethose chairpads are perfect! How fun that they're reversible. I love those candles, I bought 7 of them online over Christmas and 5 of them were shattered. it was a mess but Target gave me a full refund. I'm still finding "Glass dust" on the floor where I opended the package. BUT they DO smell wonderful!
ReplyDeleteKris, I love those chair seat pads. Two in one . Gotta love that. I am not a fan of silvery appliances either, can't wait to see the magic from you and Terry. LOL Blessings, xoxo, Susie
ReplyDeleteYour dining room is beautiful, Kris! And the chair pads fit in perfectly, playing nice with all your other treasures.

Hello Kris!!!!
ReplyDeleteI need to look for that candle because I LOVE CHESTNUT EVERYTHING! And those chair pillows, YOU SCORED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What a deal on those chair pads! Being reversible is great! You can have a new look when you want it!
ReplyDeleteYour dining area looks perfect Kris. I love the blue you are adding. My favorite color!
Love it when you're able to find things that are perfect for your decor! Those chair cushions are great! They really add to your room. Oooo, I love good smacking candles. I wonder if I can find one at the Target here...of course, it's an hour away but next time I go, I'll look.
ReplyDeleteHow perfect those reversible chair pads. I love the pretty blue chair pads and they go perfectly with your pretty curtains. Such a great deal to get two. The candle sounds amazing. I cannot wait to see what you two come up with for the refrigerator. Happy weekend. Xo
ReplyDeleteI love Homegoods. Tuesday Morning and Homegoods are my favorite haunts. And those chair pads are perfection! I happen to like white refrigerators. Reminds me I guess of my granny's house. To me stainless steel is too industrial and as I've said many times, reminds me of the morgue.

Wanted to add: You couldn't have found better chair pads if you'd custom ordered them. The shade of blue is just right. Soft and pretty.
ReplyDeleteBrenda
Oh my word! The cushions are perfection, and what an amazing price. You seriously couldn’t make them for that much $.
ReplyDeleteMe thinketh terry is going to put panels on the front of the fridge? If he pulls that off I may have to kidnap him. 😬
Your new chair pads go perfectly in your new dining space. I was at HomeGoods a few days ago too, but the one I go to is so overcrowded that you can't get down any aisles with a cart. You have to leave your cart in another section of the store and just walk down the aisles and then back to your cart if you have anything. And the things I was looking for, I didn't find. But of course, I did find some other things that I didn't know I was looking for. ;-)
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what Terry does with the fridge!
I wish I had a Home Goods somewhere around me, but I don't know of any within 100 miles! Those chair cushions are just the perfect blue and I love both sides. So fun to score like that! I do love scented candles and those look so pretty too. Again, no Target within my area. I live in a very small town and the closest bigger town is 50 miles away.. though I do go there now and then. I love my scented pine candles that I got at Christmas.. I still burn them! Have a great weekend! Marilyn
ReplyDeleteThose cushions were a perfect find, Kris, and so cute on the DR chairs!
ReplyDeleteThe new chair pads are perfect, Kris! Don't you love it when you find just the right thing? The candle even sounds wonderful...I need to look for it! Can't wait to see what you do with the fridge...
ReplyDeleteI haven't been to HomeGoods in a long time. I need to go shopping! I love those cushions. What a find. They were totally meant to be. Hope your fridge project is coming along. Can't wait to see! I know what you'll be doing this weekend!!
ReplyDeleteLove your Home Goods finds! Our Home Goods store WAS full of beautiful home decor but it's seems so different now. Maybe that is a good thing, more money in my purse.
ReplyDeleteThank you for mentioning your candle from Target. Now, I want one!!! xxxx
Kris!!! what a good find and at a steal of a price!. I haven't seen anything as pretty in my last couple of trips to HomeGoods that I go to. I am never there at the right time. They look so pretty with your dr set and the blue curtains around them. Isn't it great when you find a sweet candle that you like? I have one from Christmas that is in a silver looking jar and it is so pretty as well and smells so good. I will stop by Target to see if I can find the one you have. After all, it is right on the way to In-and-Out Burger!. I am so anxious to see what you do with your refer. As you know, mine sticks out like a sore thumb, so maybe I can give Jerry some ideas..xxoJudy
ReplyDeleteWhat a great find Kris! I really like the chair pads and how perfect they are for the room and those curtains! The candles does sound yummy! I’ll have to check Target out for that! Hmmm.... what are you up to with that fridge!
ReplyDeleteLove the new chair cushions! They do add so much. I'll have to look for the candles too. I can't imagine what you plan for the fridge, but I'm sure it will be fabulous!
ReplyDeleteI think God rewards us with those 'little blessings' for the life crap we put up with sometimes....like those chair pads...score! I love how they JUMPED into your basket. I think I am stuck with stainless steel...lol...
ReplyDeleteOh and yeah---ain't my girls the greatest? lol hey--I didn't get a candle from them!
Waiting for Terry & you to work your magic on the fridge. Hugs-Diana
Love the cushions. They are perfect. We aren't allowed to burn candles here in the old folks home. (That's what my grandson calls it. Yes he has been stricken off my Christmas list) I guess they are afraid we'll burn the apartment building down, and in all honesty the one time I defied the rule I almost caught my hair on fire. xo Laura
ReplyDeleteOhhhh, aaahhhh, love the cushions and the candle! I might need to go to Home Goods and Target!
ReplyDeleteHi, how fun Kris, a good shopping time.
ReplyDeleteHow fun you are coming over to the color side, and of course BLUES are the perfect choice...grins, I would want those too---! Sandi

ReplyDeleteI hear you on the stainless fridge....I asked for white, but Jim "surprised" me with a stainless.....ugh. Those chair pads are the sweetest ever! and they reverse to the greatest ticking! double score!! May I ask where you got your table runner? I am crushing on it.
