Blooming Kitchen Window

Happy Sunday.
Hope you all had a great weekend.
This was my new kitchen window shelf and corbels.

I did a little spring decor up there on the shelf.  I always have the hardest time finding things to go on shelves.  That is why I do not have a lot of them in my house.  I am better with walls for decor items.

I found these cute hanging pots in a sweet shop I was in last Thursday.  They are lightweight and chippy.

Happy Anniversary to my indoor plant.  I have never been able to keep inside plants alive.
Yep true fact!!

This is the one year anniversary since I bought this ivy in a tiny little pot.  It has grown so much in the last year.
I have always been good with outdoor plants and flowers but never indoor plants.
To be honest I do not think it is me caring for it but more that it loves the sunshine that comes in that kitchen window that makes it thrive.

Have a great start to the new week.
We are almost done with the painting in the office area.
We had an interruption with Terry's dad getting sick and going into the hospital.  Prayers for him please.  Some of the weekend was spent at the hospital.

  8. Sending a prayer up for Terry's dad to get well soon.
Love all your pretty decor - the window shelf looks great. Those chippy flower pots in the front window are adorable! I think this is the first time I've seen your place with sunshine coming in - so cheerful! I think Spring has found us here in the South. We are making a huge bed along the driveway. I can't wait to find flowers for it!
    Stay warm! Hugs, Cecilia

ps. Did you see on the news where that lady in FL was so proud that she had kept a succulent alive for TWO YEARS and watered it sparingly and it seemed to thrive. She went to repot it and discovered it was faux and 'planted' in styrofoam...lol...it was on the news this morning.

  29. White is my favorite too!! Look at the elegance it is giving to the entire room. The whole kitchen looks so appealing. The corbels and lace screens are resplendent. I am totally in awe of the overall landscape. Congrats on the first anniversary of your Ivy and I must say the green color is perfectly complementing the white background. Loved your post totally, dear!!
