Hello and Happy Sunday.
The She Shed formally Chicken Coop has been taken apart and moved to our backyard.
|
We went to the property where the chicken coop was and took it all apart so we could move it to our backyard. |
|
It is in many pieces in our backyard. It needs to be power washed and then we can reassemble it and start to paint and make her pretty. |
|
This ugly will be pretty soon. I am excited to get working on it when our weather breaks a little bit. |
|
Hope to see something cute and pretty like this inspiration picture from pinterest. |
|
I found a cute table and chairs today and I cannot wait to use it in the re love of my shed.
Have a great Sunday.
Thank you for all the beautiful cards and emails filled with prayers and sympathy for our family as we grieve the loss of Terry's dad. We miss him.
Stay safe and lessen your exposure for the possible coronavirus in the next few weeks.
Wishing all of you a great start to the new week.
xoxo

Gosh Kris - what a lot of pieces! It will be so good for you to be able to power wash it all, actually, should I have said Terry! You will make it stunning and I love both of your inspiration pictures. Well done for already finding a cute table and chairs. It will be the perfect project for you both to focus on, in more ways than one. It is important for all of us to do our best to lessen the chances of getting this truly dangerous virus. My sister and I have just been talking about the possibility of dying, too soon, in our opinion - as we both have lists of things that we are hoping to do. All we can do is pray and try to keep ourselves safe. Hugs Gilly.
ReplyDeleteWow, that's already been a lot of work, but it looks as though the weekend has been successful so far. It's going to be a focal point of your yard, for sure!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great project to have! Love your inspiration pics. Stay safe and well with all this craziness going on (and I hope you have enough toilet paper to get through this crisis ;) ) xoxox
ReplyDeleteKris, I'm so excited to see this when finished! I showed John and loves your inspiration one. You and Terry will make this a beauty.
ReplyDeleteHope things are getting a bit easier for Terry.
Cindy
Your she shed will be so fabulous and so YOU when you and Terry are finished. The nesting box on the side will be perfect for the flowers you grow so well. And you have furniture for it! Woohoo! I'm excited for you. xoxo
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see the shed come together.
ReplyDeleteI love your inspiration photo Kris, your new shed has a great start structurally to the inspiration one. Love that long window next to the door. You will have it magazine worthy in no time. I can't wait to see what you do with it! Happy Sunday!!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see what Terry creates for you.
ReplyDeleteAnd I love the inspiration pics. I'm wondering now if I can hang a shelf on the side of my shed.
I am so jealous! I want one of those. Doubt it would fit on the patio though.

ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing this project!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute she shed! A little freshening up and you're good to go!
ReplyDeleteOh dear friend your she shed is going to be beautiful! I know you are looking forward to decorating it! I would have so many ideas running through my head! This will help you and Terry heal, to have a project going. Have fun with it!
ReplyDeleteBig hug
This is going to be so awesome, can't wait to see the completed look!
ReplyDeleteI am getting excited for you! It is going to be beautiful and I can't wait to see her fully dressed in the Kris touch! Hugs and blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeleteNo doubt it will be amazing when you have it done, Kris....maybe you can do a little memorial garden or plant a rose for Terry's dad, like I did with Papa's Garden around my shed. It brings me great comfort...I feel him so much more there than in the cemetery...even though I go there also and clean things up and tend to his grave. Yesterday we went down and removed all the winter decor and put up an Irish flag for St Patrick's Day - my dad was from Ireland (mom, too) and they got engaged on St. Patrick's Day 56 years ago, ahhhhh xo
ReplyDeleteThat is going to be amazing! Can't wait to see it!
ReplyDeleteI guess I forgot this post, Kris. It is so amazing and the cutest thing I have ever seen and I am so excited to see it all done up..Happy Tuesday..xxoJudy
ReplyDeleteHi Kris, at least this will be a fun project for you and Terry to work on. I know it will look amazing and I can't wait to see it.
ReplyDeleteI look forward to seeing the end product! Hope it does not take too long!
ReplyDeleteYou guys are incredible...that would be SO overwhelming to me, I wouldn't know where to start! I know that this will be gorgeous when you two are done with it.
ReplyDeleteAwww...I can't wait to see what you do with it!
ReplyDeleteIt is gonna be great. Can't wait to see.
