I found a company called Mix Tiles on Facebook that did a great job taking some of my favorite family pictures and putting them on canvas and framing them. I am not compensated in anyway from this company I just love their product and wanted to share.

| I had the most frustrating time getting a good picture of this wall. I found this wonderful sign and then had my favorite family pictures made into black and white canvas prints framed in white like the wall saying. |

Trust me this wall is brighter and prettier than the pictures show.

ReplyDeleteGood morning dear Kris!You really know how to pull together objects to make them into special treasures. Frames, a sign on wood, then the faces that make your world. This works together so well as one unit, as a family should be! I have oodles of old photos of my grandparents and parents but I'm not one to scatter family photos around the house. Maybe I should consider something like this. Well done!

I just this week had black & white prints made of our growing family with the intention to hang them in white painted frames to create a gallery wall. I LOVE how you incorporated that lovely sign with yours. I hope you don't mind if I borrow this idea and make a similar sign for my wall? Question: you guys got married around the same time we did, how did you get a black & white print made? Did you still have the negatives?
ReplyDeleteI recall once that daughter Kendra took black and white photos of old bridges and such and framed them for her wall before anyone was talking about gallery walls. It was beautiful. Sometimes I think I should try black and white again because there is an elegance about it. Your wall is beautiful with your family smiling down at you. Must be comforting.
