Hello sweet friends. Happy Friday.
I showed you this big beast I bought on FB Marketplace.
It got cleaned up and a couple of coats of white paint. |

I am a retired RN. I love all things white, chippy, vintage and cottage chic. I am married to my best friend and handyman who helps me make our cottage chic. You can read more on my About Me page.
Darling friend. You know how to take an unwanted piece and recycle it, whirl your magic over it and VOILÀ! You are left with a treasure. That is a fabulous headboard that leaves you with a sense of style without a footboard that could take up space in your room. Again, a brilliant move. Enjoy. And I see Mr. Buddy really knows how to nest up and enjoy the moment!
ReplyDeleteThat turned out beautiful! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteThe headboard looks fabulous. Your bedroom is so calming and beautiful. A beautiful transformation Kris. Hugs

A great find and beautiful job! Looks so inviting in your room.
ReplyDeleteLove it Kris. Can I ask where you purchased the pretty picture above the beautiful headboard? I have been looking for this exact picture everywhere I always look forward to seeing your gorgeous transformations
ReplyDeleteHi Kris. I purchased it from a French Market Place store near me with different vendors but I have seen this same type of picture at Home Goods. Hope that helps. This was really a pretty one. Hope you can find one for yourself. xoxo Kris
DeleteWow! You did it again. Looks fabulous!
ReplyDeleteIt looks SO different! It's beautiful, Kris. Love little Buddy.

ReplyDeleteThe headboard is beautiful! You are amazing💗
ReplyDeleteI am amazed at how beautiful the headboard looks painted white. Something so simple and it looks amazing now. I love your bedroom! Buddy is just the cutest! Have a nice Friday and weekend Kris. :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that Buddy!! Give him a pat from me.
ReplyDeleteThe headboard is lovely.
That's beautiful! Well done! Of course your model is the best thing of all! I have to keep the hassock pushed away from my bed since we found out that James Mason has IVDD and isn't allowed to jump anymore. BreeBree chooses to stay in the floor nest with him now after a few minutes of visiting me in bed. Probably for the best but I miss snuggling with them.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful transformation! You make it all look so easy! Could you give us a quick little "tutorial" and how you cleaned it up (did you sand it?) and what type of paint you use? It looks so nice and creamy and such good coverage. Do you use a primer first? I would love to paint something but don't know where to start! Hugs.. Marilyn
ReplyDeleteKris, I love that headboard. You just make me smile. I think your paint brush must never dry out. :) I really love the window treatment. Blessings for a great weekend, xoxo, Susie
