Hello Everyone. Hope you had a great 4th of July weekend.
This summer is going way too fast!
Terry and I took a drive to Michigan up along the lake on Friday. We visited some of my shops I love.
There is one shop in Three Oaks Michigan that I absolutely love.
|
Vintage Goods is owned by my friend Diane. It is a fabulous shop filled with lots of Vintage Goods!! |
|
Look at this fabulous porch swing. Ahhhhh Swooning over this porch swing. |
|
A beautiful part of her shop is an outside garden shop area. Oh makes your heartbeat a little faster to stroll and shop out there. |
|
Look at this fabulous old Schwinn bike with the old vintage baby carrier. |
|
The garden area is filled with so many vintage pieces along with beautiful plants and flowers. |
|
Diane's hubby makes these fabulous garden houses made out old salvage windows, doors etc. |
|
It is a super fun place to shop. Here is Diane's FB Page for Vintage Goods.
I will have a quick post up in a few days on the new treasure I acquired on our trip. Can't wait to show you. |
Well, it looks like you had a pretty FUN TIME HERE! WOOO HOOO!!!!!!! Kris, it's always a joy to see what you have been up to on your excursions my friend! What a darling place.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great place to shop!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what you bought, Kris. That teapot on garden hook inspired me for a vignette in our booth. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteOh Kris I was swooning looking at those garden houses made from windows. The garden section stole my heart. Happy you had a great time.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Cindy
I loved seeing pictures of your shopping tour! So many pretty things to look at. Kris, we have two of those white columns! Saved them from a job we did building a new outdoor room and have tried to think of a way to use them in the garden. I don't really want a swing but this makes me even more excited about coming up with way to use them now!
ReplyDeleteWhat? Not even a little hint as to what you bought home with you?
What a fabulous place to stroll through and shop. The porch swing is so unique. Her hubby is quite gifted like your Terry for creating beautiful pieces. Summer is flying by. Happy Sunday. hugs

ReplyDeleteOh swooning right along with you! I would love to stroll that shop! I WANT that yellow chair and ottoman! but no room for it as our house is small and so are the rooms.. but love it so much. Also the window greenhouses are wonderful as is the arch going through the gate.. and those white scrolly little gates. Love it all. Am excited to see what tugged at your heart strings! Hope you had a nice 4th! Marilyn

ReplyDeleteI love that arbor. I've got gardening on the brain so I'm always looking out for cute stuff for the yard. We were going to make a road trip up there early this fall. I'm not so sure now but I'll remember this spot when we do. Great pictures.
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy tagging along with you via blog land. :-) I see so many items I would like to snatch up.
ReplyDeleteI love those kinds of shops, Kris. I'm glad you had a little time away. As I was looking through, I thought maybe I would spy something that you got as I just knew you would say you got something at the end of the post. It could be that sweet little green house?? Hurry and do tell..Stay well..xxoJudy
