I recently found an armoire on FB Marketplace for free. Yep FREE!!!
I have no business getting a big ole' armoire even if the price is right at FREE!
I could not resist and I had all kinds of thoughts swirling through my mind of what I might re love this armoire into for this tiny house.
Another reason why I should not have gotten a large armoire I live in a tiny house!!!
When I showed Terry the armoire I "purchased" for free he gave me the look and said where is that going to go?
Exactly I said to him that was my question to myself as well!
Then I began to tell him I have a plan for this old beautiful hunk of wood cabinet. Again I got the look.
I think he words were " You really mean you have a plan for me with this hunk of wood?" Don't you love when they are getting your drift lol!!
Then I reminded him about all his lovely tools he holds so dear and near to his heart and smiles when he gets to use them.
Ha!!! I had him there!!!
Looking forward to seeing what you do with that armoire!

Omygoodness, you gave me such a chuckle this morning. I thought you were listening to conversations between my hubby and I. I read it to him over coffee this morning. So we were both laughing. We have had many of these exact conversations over the last 41 years. Thank goodness my man loves all his wonderful tools too. Lol. His most dreaded phase to hear come out of my mouth is. "Honey. I was thinking..." lol. We are so blessed to have men who love to please us. Tell Terry it could be worse. We are getting ready to purchase a repo, so lots of these conversations to come in our home again soon. Lol
ReplyDeleteThe armoire is fabulous. I know you and Terry will transform this free piece into something special. Continued prayers for your mom. Hugs
ReplyDeleteFREE???? *fainting* OH MY GOODNESS, that's a beautiful armoire! You are one lucky girl to find such a deal!! Go you!

ReplyDeleteWow! I can't wait to see what you and Terry turn this into Kris! I just know that it will be fantastic. Praying that you have good news when the tests come back. Hugs, Gilly x
ReplyDeleteKris, I hope the doctor appointments today give you good news for your mother. I know it must be such a blessing for her to have you there with her for all of this. I've had the opportunity the past two months to have our daughter around and we've had so many good talks and time in the kitchen together. After moving back nearer family than Montana was, they're now moving back to Florida and I miss her so much.
ReplyDeleteThe lines of the armoire are lovely and I know it will become beautiful in your and Terry's hands!

My dear and probably only blogger friend left! Thank you for coming to listen to my ultimate favorite song: Clair de Lune. This piece truly spoke to my feet as a three year old who knew she wanted to dance and to this now 62 year old's fingers as I re-explore my harp, hoping to dedicate my time to honor my father. Thank you for visiting.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful armoire..
ReplyDeleteBest thoughts and wishes for your mom and you.
Hugs, Ida
Between your visions and Terry's talents, I know that something amazing will come of that armoire.
ReplyDeleteHope mom is doing better.
