Hello sweet friends. Thank you for all the sweet wishes for our 39th anniversary. Wow where has the time gone?
I shared on that post that we were going to Michigan for the day. We love that drive up along the lake towns and the cute shops. I only did a few of them since we were just going for the day. Plus I still get a little nervous about going into places even masked up. The shops we visited only had a few people in there so that made me less nervous. We then ate at one of our fave restaurants. Just a nice low key day to celebrate our Anniversary.

Isn't she cute. When I saw here my heart beats went faster. I have never seen a Chic and Shabby Scarecrow. I grabbed her up and would have hugged her but I was afraid to break off the straw lol!

I really have not gotten a lot of fall going just yet. My flowers outside are still holding on to summer. We will have a beautiful week of low 70's. Just not feeling like fall to me yet. Have a great week.

This is the perfect addition to a seasonal moment of our lives that can actually be kept us all season and not just for Halloween. The lace softens everything so nicely! Well dear friend, that is a find! I am not a scarecrow fan,but that one is really cute!!! I love it Can you share your route you travel when you go to Michigan? We are hoping to do a little trip this fall, just to get away.We are in Indiana, and it sounds like you two have discovered a great route!

Oh she's such a doll! Perfect for you and your sweet cottage. Happy belated Anniversary! I meant to wish you one earlier. Your day's drive sounded just perfect and like it's a very pretty drive. I love being my water, lakes, rivers, etc. and love little shops! Yes.. don't the years just zoom by? What happened even 10 years ago to me seems like just last year! I'm not sure what it seems like here as far as seasons go... it's been hot, but has cooled off, but now we have so much smoke in our town (from fires to the west of us) that it feels like a different world. Very gray and hazy and no sunshine and can't see very far.. and smoke smells in the house! Oregon and Washington are burning up, as well as California. It's just awful. Hugs to you.. Marilyn
