Hello Sweet Friends.
Fall is definitely in the air and those long summer days have gone. Sweater weather is on our heels. New pumpkins are beginning to appear. |
I added a few new fall flowers to my sweet scarecrow. |
Found this sweet cabinet on FB Marketplace and decided she could use some love and then become a nice storage addition to my kitchen. |
I seriously needed the storage. I was using a kitchen cabinet for a food pantry in this tiny kitchen. Left me no space for extra dishes and tupperware etc. |
The solution was to make this cute little cabinet into a new pantry. |
It has lots of storage space for can goods and miscellaneous pantry items. I had my table and chair set here but this was in more need. |
Great cabinet and it really does have some great storage.
ReplyDeleteI love the way the cabinet looks painted white Kris! You did a great job and it looks nice in the kitchen and it will make a great pantry.
ReplyDeleteYour pantry cabinet turned out amazing.....I love it painted white! It was beautiful here today.... but a little windy.

Good morning dear Kris. This is yet another beautiful re-loved project and it looks wonderful in your kitchen. Have a great day and week ~ FlowerLady
ReplyDeleteWhat a difference white paint made to the cabinet, so pretty! It's the perfect size without taking up valuable real estate. I totally understand the need for extra food storage in a small kitchen, the same was the case with us. Have a wonderful Sunday! xo
ReplyDeleteKRIS! Brilliant ideas as always! This is so functional but also cottagy and beautiful.Great job on the paint and your decorating is so gorgeous. Fall is here too and I hate to have to do it but we'll need to put on the heater!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet cabinet! It was the perfect solution.
ReplyDeleteReally cute and functional 👍
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Kris, love those feet! Your pumpkins look pretty and the scarecrow is adorable filled with fall flowers.
ReplyDeleteI'm loving the cooler weather!
Hugs,
Cindy
I love all the fall decor ..so subtle. The cabinet turned out perfect. I can see how useful it will be. You have such talent!
ReplyDeleteTerry's cabinet makeover is perfect for your kitchen! Storage is always at a premium in a smaller home. My husband can't understand why some seldom used items are tucked away BEHIND more frequently used pieces. I keep telling him that everything can't be in front.
ReplyDeleteIt's gorgeous and perfect for a pantry, Kris!

Your new fall decor is looking SO good Kris! That pantry cabinet was a truly great find - extra storage is always so necessary and welcome. We too, struggle with space in our kitchen. Hugs, Gilly
ReplyDeleteAh, that is a perfect size, and of course another surface to decorate, LOL. Hugs, Sandi
ReplyDeleteYour pictures look fine! Cute pantry you have there....more pantry space than what we have! Super idea, and I love the white paint!
ReplyDeleteLove how this turned out. It looks fabulous in your kitchen and it will provide that much needed storage. Happy Sunday Kris. Xo
ReplyDeleteLove the cabinet! Extra storage is always good in a small house. Our weather is just perfect right now. I wish it was like this a lot longer. I’m not looking forward to the cold.
ReplyDeleteStill love your sweet scarecrow. I’d love to see a picture of her “frame”.
Hugs, Cecilia
Sometimes you have to lose pretty for practical, and, lucky you, you got both. Good idea and very cute cabinet in a perfect spot..Stay well..xxoJudy
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea for a pantry! I use two big kitchen cabinets for food storage (including my tons of spices, lol) and then two small cabinets just for my baking items! So I don't have much room for dishes either. Good thing we have a basement - I have more food storage space down there, as well as room for my big kitchen items such as the Crockpot, food processor, bread machine, cake plates, etc. Major downsizing if we ever move!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty cabinet and lots of storage. YAY! That's a huge plus isn't it? Hugs and blessings to you Kris.

Great addition, Kris, and perfect for your needs. I don't have nearly as much kitchen storage here that I have had in other houses. Takes some adjustment. Your solution is perfect.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week! xo Diana
Fantastic Kris, I like it.
ReplyDeleteWe finished our project yesterday. We put in a new door and two outdoor light fixtures. I had to re paint the garage door. Anyway.. it feels great to have our project complete. I will share photos soon on The River.
And.. the boys do not know about the updates. So they will be so surprised to see a "new house" Ha!
Hello you Sweet Friend,
ReplyDeleteYou must know that as soon as I saw this scarecrow I smiled. You know you don't have a naughty bone in your body...even your scarecrow is sweet just like you! You always amaze and inspire me, Kris. You truly are a sweetheart and we all get to enjoy you right here on your blog. Also love your darling cabinet!
Big Ole Florida Hugs,
Jemma
That’s perfectly sized and I know it provides for good storage! Nice find!
ReplyDeleteWhat a makeover! love it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a perfect cabinet for that space! It seems to hold so much, too, Kris!
ReplyDeleteWell done, ma'am!!!! Love it!
Hi Kris,
ReplyDeleteLove your new storage pantry....it is so cute and amazing the results of white paint.
It is always so neat what a coat of paint will do for anything.......lol
Nice to have some extra room to put things I'll bet..........
Hope you have a lovely day hon,
Blessings, Nellie
That is just perfect. It reminds me of the old jelly pantry my grandmother used to have. SO charming!! Hope you're enjoying the week! xo
ReplyDeleteSo cute, I love all your bright white decor, I learned from experience I can't do it with pets and being a lazy housekeeper, but I adore the serenity and clean lines.
ReplyDeleteLove the size, that would be perfect in my bathroom. I can't believe there is not a single place built into my bathroom for storage. Thank heavens we're diy'ers! xoxox
