Hello Everyone. Happy New Week
Isn't she just the sweetest with her little bird. |
I love these birds that I got from Target a few years ago. They just make me smile. |
They are so pretty on my counter top in the kitchen at night. |

I am a retired RN. I love all things white, chippy, vintage and cottage chic. I am married to my best friend and handyman who helps me make our cottage chic. You can read more on my About Me page.
Those little white trees are so cute, Kris! I just got my bird family, from you, out yesterday. Happy to hear your Thanksgiving was nice. We had fun, too!! Enjoy those twinkly lights!! xo
ReplyDeleteLove those cute birds and angel! We are putting our tree up on Wednesday I think. Normally we put it up Thanksgiving weekend but we have carpet installers coming on Tuesday to install new carpet in our three bedrooms and I worry they would knock it down carrying carpet in and out. How do you like your butcher block counters? Are they hard to keep clean?
ReplyDeleteCute festive touches. I hope that they bring you and those that share your space pleasure throughout the holiday season.
ReplyDeleteKris, I love those birds too. Everyone is a bit different. The little angel is adorable. I love looking at your decorations. Your mom was probably watching. I know you missed her. Blessings, take care, xoxo, Susie
ReplyDeleteThe little birds dressed up in their winter finery are so dang cute! Target has so many cute little ornaments, I wish I could go now. My daughter has said that ours is a hot mess right now, not ever rightly stocked and grumpy people tired of the long lines. Sad.
ReplyDeleteKeep up the decorating, Kris! I need to get motivated!

So pretty and so YOU!! Got my tree up but not all decorated yet. Am trying to wade thru all of these bins with decorations. Not going to use all of them but have to go thru to decide. Glad your Thanksgiving was loved. Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteYour little birds are so sweet! Can't wait to see your tree all decorated.

Kris, your little winter birds are so danged cute I am grinning from ear to ear just seeing them. (You know I love birds too so it really touches a hug chord in me.)
ReplyDeleteLove love love - I don't think I could get anything done in my kitchen with those cuties watching me. And your angel from Cil? I mean seriously, is that the most adorable thing ever or what????
Enjoy your Advent - you are right, it goes super fast.
I am almost done - had a change of thoughts on my wee tree, once I finish it I will do a home tour. This time I WILL. I sure let autumn go without one. Just couldn't find the energy. I am stoked for Christmas though. Hugs!!!!
What cute birdies and I sure love their taste in furs.. :0)! Your decor is so pretty and calming with the cute white trees and angel decor..Happy Holidays..Thank you for sharing..
ReplyDeleteGood morning dearest Kris!
ReplyDeleteI am glad to hear that you had a lovely time at the lake cottage. Relaxation and beauty is what we all crave. Like you, I'm enjoying some older items I got from Target a few years ago too! Every night, I feel like a kid again when all my lights go on...I take a tour of my own home and just sit and enjoy the lights. I have these darling metal houses that were ornaments that I got from Target. I just have them sitting on my window sills but they bring back so many memories of childhood Christmases....I don't even want to go to bed because I just want to stay up and watch the stars and lights.
Oh my gosh those little birds are the cutest. I will check on line to see if Target has any this year. I’d love to have some they bring such fun. Love your decor as always!!
ReplyDeleteIt looks great, Kris! Love those little birds.😍I think of you whenever I put mine out. Glad your trip was relaxing. A little time away with family is a great way to kick off the holidays. xo
ReplyDeleteThat looks so sweet, Kris! I haven't started yet but will bring it out bit by bit. Thanks for the motivation!
ReplyDeleteHappy you had a great time at the lake.
ReplyDeleteYour Christmas decor looks great. Those birds are a happy scene. The most elegant and sophisticated birds ever!
Hugs
Cindy
I love the Christmas tree lights and have it hooked up most of the day. I also love those little birds you found at Target. So cute!

Loving your decor Kris. But I haven't seen anything that you do that I have not liked! Gotta chuckle out your "tweaking". Marty told our girls, "Your mama will be tweaking, moving things around, adding and taking off on Christmas morning". SO TRUE! Hugs and blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeleteAs always Kris, beautiful decorating, it doesn't matter what time of the year. The angel is sweet with her little bird and your bird collection is adorable. I've not started yet, I've thought about it, but this morning I worked outside for almost 2 hours. Still have more to do, my tropical cottage gardens are a jungle. Enjoy your lovely Christmas holiday and decorations ~ FlowerLady
ReplyDeleteKris, you make all white look so cozy and sweet! I love what you've done in your kitchen.
ReplyDeleteKris, I love those cute birds in your kitchen! I remember seeing those birds at Target and they have a great Christmas department. I can imagine how much you miss your mom and it's nice that the family got together. I can't wait to see how you decorated your tree. Enjoy the week.
ReplyDeleteI love those little birds...still have the ones you sent me. :) And your angel is so sweet with her little birdie friend. I'm glad you were able to enjoy the lakehouse - I know it had to have been hard knowing your mom was supposed to be there.
ReplyDeleteI got my decorations out and all decorated. I'm going to hang on to each day as fully as I can! It does go too fast and I wish it wouldn't. I love the lights and music and baking....all of it! Have a wonderful first week of Christmas month.
hugs,
Cecilia
