Now that my girls are grown we do not do stockings from Santa anymore. Instead I usually do up some kind of little fun stocking stuffer. This one is fun and it also gives back.

This is two of their favorite Christmas candies. They are 99 cents each. |
|
I found these cute little Elf on the Shelf candy holders at Walgreens for $3. They come with candy inside but I guess you could put other things like dollar bills or quarters too. |
|
These are the best things that McDonalds came out with. They are cup cozies that are $5 and the proceeds go to Ronald McDonald House Charities. I was so upset when McDonalds got rid of the styrofoam cups that kept your drink from sweating and ice melting. They came out with these cozies and I have to say they do keep your drink cold and no sweating. |
|
I love that all the proceeds go to Ronald McDonald House Charities. |
|
Found these cute tags. Since the Elf is keeping an eye on if we are naughty or nice thought this was a cute tag. |

My grown kiddos love scratch off tickets instead of a lot of candy. They are fun and no calories and you might win some cash. I tied all of these things off in clear cello bags. My granddaughters do not get lottery tickets because they are too little so instead I put in a few dollars for their piggy banks in place of the scratch offs. This is a cute little stocking stuffer or even a sweet gift for someone. It is not real expensive to make and it gives back to charity. Win win in my book. I started my baking and am enjoying getting cookies baked for my neighbors and family. Hope you are enjoying getting ready for Christmas. It comes so quickly. Enjoy the rest of the week. Kris |
Great ideas, Kris. One of my sisters was asking me for ideas the other day - gonna pass this along!

Hello Kris! You are the master at finding great deals with a great payback. These are wonderful tokens of appreciation! Love that little elf candy holder;it reminds me of the vintage goodies we'd get as kids back in the 60s that are not collectibles!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week my friend.
I love these cute stocking stuffers you made Kris. The elf on a shelf candy holders are so cute and I like the McDonalds cup cozy. It's a busy time of year for everyone and it's going way too fast! Enjoy the rest of the week and weekend Kris.
ReplyDeleteLOL Such a cute idea, but do we really want one of these naughty elves in our lives! I've seen them involved in all kinds of shenanigans! ;P
ReplyDeleteI lol with your response Ms. Ricki..I have seen some funny ones on FB, too. lol
DeleteYou come up with the cutest gift ideas, Kris! Love this!
ReplyDeleteCute Idea...I actually saw that little elf one day in Walgreens and thought it was cute..good package. :0) .. I was not aware of the cup holders offered by McD. Their cups are bad to sweat at the bottom...will check them out and like you said..a great charity, as I have had friends to actually use the Ronald McDonald House. Happy Holidays.. Great sweet post.
ReplyDeleteWhat cute ideas, Kris-but then you always have really sweet ideas. I didn't know about the cup holders from McD's nor did I know about the charity thing. I have always supported Ronald McDonald House though.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a good night and that the girls get WINNING LOTTERY TICKETS...and that they share their winnings with you. lol. xoDiana
I love finding cute little goodies to put in stockings! I get lottery scratch tickets too! It's always fun to gather around the tree and have a scratch party! Lol! Happy baking! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteI used to fill Tim's stocking up until he moved out of our home. Now that he's out-of-state, I just mailed him a stocking (picked up a cheap one at the Dollar Store; his original stocking stays here at home) filled with lottery tickets, gum, and some healthy snacks. You had some cute ideas!
ReplyDeleteReally excellent ideas, Kris!!!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat ideas although I have to say that the elf thing creeps me out. Why do I only ever see Chucky when I look at them?? lol xox
ReplyDeleteCute idea!! Joe gives the kids cards from Santa with lottery tickets in them...
